National Credit Regulator Reviews

Highly pressurised and not routine based

I would usually plan my day however the nature of my environment does not provide for routine. Each day has its own challenges and you always have to think on your feet. I manage a team of 18 people and have good working relations with my colleagues. I enjoy the challenge and learnt to be proactive in all my planning.

Pros: I am not micro managed which allows productivity
Cons: High pressurised environment

Doing new things daily and learning on a daily basis

I deal with the media, suppliers internal and external colleagues on a daily basis. I relate well with my co-workers as there are other projects that we do as a team such as campaigns and I lead some of the projects. On a daily basis when I receive a media query, I sometimes need input from other departments and approval from the executive committee and I do that on a daily basis. I have learnt a lot about credit and the law. I enjoy working with the media and simplifying the Act for both the media and the public. I also enjoy making presentations to consumers. The most challenging thing is meeting deadlines where people who need to provide information are unavailable.

Pros: Learning something new daily
Cons: Limitation in terms of growth

Good starting point

its a good working environment, Open space, interactive as my department is linked to almost every other departments. it was almost every time busy place where i used to communicate with customers both telepathically and in person.

Pros: opportunity for growth
Cons: limited to show your personal knowledge
