National Credit Regulator Reviews

It's a very challenging and motivating environment. Always new challenges daily.

It is a good entity to work for with a lot of challenging situations on a daily basis which helps one to grow. A good working environment. The issue is that most of the work is done manually. The management tend to sometimes undermine the cry of employees.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Limited capacity

Learnt to be credit wise

Was given an opportunity to work for the Regulator while I was young, fresh from varsity and the years I've worked with the offices of the Regulator I've grown and given the opportunity to advance within the company. From being a learner to a Registration officer.

Pros: Opportunity for growth
Cons: Not enough workshops to educate people about being credit wise

Great leadership

My organisation has an open door policy, i have access to my CEO to discuss work related issues that affect and impact on our organisation. I sit on the employee staff forum and get to understand what the challenges of each departments are. My colleagues are very professional and very friendly. I enjoy the confidence that my manager has in me, he trust me with my decisions and gives me the opportunity to apply my mind and come with new innovative of doing things. I have been in the same position for almost four years and i feel its time that i move to another level in my career, the challenge in my organisation is that there are no opportunities as the structure is flat. I have learned a lot in the past four years.

Pros: Have a lot to learn and take on more responsibilities
Cons: Flat orgaisational structure

Hard working ,able to multitask and willingness to go an extra mile

To work for NCR is a nice thing because you learn more about the Credit Industry and how to advise people about it. The relationship with the colleagues is vital because at work is where you spend to quality 8 hours therefore you need to build good relationship. I've learnt a lot with regards to advising the consumers about their rights when making loans and complaint handing . Complaints handling is a fantastic experience because you have to development emphathy because most consumers are unaware about their rights and if the consumer needs help you need to advise accordingly.

Pros: The organisation that I'm working does not require me to work long hours. The only thing that is required of me is adhere to the company policies and meet my turnaround times.
Cons: No comment
