I am a dedicated ver hard working individual .

I am very dedicated person who enjoy new challenges on a daily basis, my day it is fulfilled when I know that I have assisted a customer with the challenges that has been going on for a long time. I have a good personality and I enjoy creating a favorable environment for people I am working with and the people which I interact with daily. What I have learned when working with people mostly is listing skill which very important when working with customers; patience and working efficiency. I enjoy and love working with people. The most challenging part of my job is to not have enough resources to be able to complete my task.

Learning of new skills

MTN has been a great company to work for. The loyalty to the brand is evident even now. I worked predominantly in the call centre focusing on performance / people management, reporting and day to day management of soft skills. Managing people and the different personalities is always a fact that needs to be dealt with, but I feel that the skill set required to deal with the different personalities and change in management styles to suit the environment is essential. I have always enjoyed working in the call centre. Offering world class customer service and training and developing of staff to that end has been a passion.

Cons: Growth Potential was limited due to the success rate of converting temp to perm staff within a short period of time

Understanding costumer's needs

My typical work day is to meet costumer requirements. My relationship with my co-workers is good as i am a team person I learned to understand and work with different costumers for different cultures

Excellent learning curve

Excellent learning curve and im a very hard worker ii am a fast learner willing to learn. My strong points: worker holic My weak points i get very furious went people don't do their work.

Passionate, excellent interpersonal skills and technical knowledge

SUMMARY I’m an experienced IT Enterprise Engineer with over 18 years in different sectors of the economy specializing in UNIX Enterprise support on high-end and midrange infrastructure. The broad knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career have provided me with a set of skills that I believe will be an asset to any company. I am certified in TOGAF 9.1, ITIL v3 Foundation, IBM AIX v7.1, HPUX CSE in Mission Critical systems and these have equipped me with the necessary skills and Architecture knowledge to manage any UNIX Enterprise platforms on a day-to-day basis. I have been involved in major corporate projects at a technical level and through these I have enhanced my technical abilities. I

Great stepping stone

Its a great working environment. Working as a team is imperative, every day is a new day. I have learnt to work in dependently without being supervised on the daily basis, I have self managed myself.

Salary not pleasing as per responsibilities

Work life not balancing with personal life especially with working sundays. Also company not offering any induction or training to it's enployees, you swim on your own to get to know the systems and staff not friendly at all to assist.

Pros: Promotion opportunities are there if you are self motivated

Excellent Learning Curve

Did the job of 5 people in the digital marketing and sales department for 8 months due to the fact that the roles were not filled. Ran projects on my own which I love doing (marketing, Communications, media,sponsorship and events) I'm used to working long hours early morning to early morning due to sponsored events. Most challenging aspect is taking time off. I have a good relationship with our clients and suppliers. I work well with my colleagues. I have learnt that there is nothing wrong in asking for assistance when you are stuck.

Growth opportunity

I may showcase my more than 5 Years B-BBBEE experience. I can only add value and demonstrate that B-BBEE is a business enablement Strategy and not a Compliance tickbox exercise. I have steered MTN Group from a level 6 to a level 2 on the old framework. MTN Group currently is a level 4 on the new Amended ICT Sector Code. I enjoy my work daily and I’m very particular and work with a spirit of excellence. Always meeting deadlines and planning at least two months ahead. I have good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. My biggest challenge at MTN Group is getting buy in from executives. Getting their buy in is what I appreciate mostly. I enjoy adding value and assist other business units in achieving their objectives. Overall I want to assist MTN Group in being the best empowered organization in the ICT Sector.
