Good learning skills and curve

A very interesting environment to work with since there are a lot of people sharing ideas and views about work. The relationship i have with co-workers is very good because we help each other in other to archive our goals workwise.I have learnt a lot like good communication skills,working in a team and networking.I enjoy most to assist customers and when they happy.Most challenging aspects is when the system is offline and we are unable to assist customers in time.

Pros: There is an opportunity for growth in the company, since we have access to applying within the company.
Cons: Working on weekends and holidays.

Hardworking, attention to delails and very analytical

Compile Monthly Courier Billing Reconciliation of more than R10 Million Send Sales Report on a Monthly Basis For Forecasting Send Month End Reports to Senior Managers Send monthly claims for losses to Finance department Deal with all courier queries from all the channels daily All theft and insurance claims to be initiated Create an effective filling system for all Local and national distribution administrative Monitor and ensure all collections are done on time Ensure prompt handset replacement to customer Follow up with the relevant people to ensure the customer is happy and the back end processes are done effectively and within TAT Validate all the returns and deliveries and do the delivery and return analysis on a monthly basis. Create an effective filling system for all Insurance and Theft claims administrative work To effectively and efficiently manage and reconcile the National Distribution Account and implement cost savings initiatives

Gained extensive customer service experience

Mtn is a vibrant company,the working ethic encourage one to be the best.The benefits offered makes one feel appreciated.The unfortunate part is working on weekends & public holidays,which limites time spent with family.

Great learning curve

I learnt how to work as team, learnt the importance of time keeping and having a good relationship with co-workers. Respect each and every staff member at mtn. I also learnt how to work independently of which it was an advantage. I learnt how to deal with different challenges.

Career opportunity

it's a good way to communicate with different people. A very fast paced environment. It gives you an ability to have team work and share idea or information. I learned how to be patient while I think on my feet and to type fast. Having to work with all type of people was the most enjoyable part and having average handling time was challenging.

Very good job opportunities

I would like to get more experience on other companies and other knowledge regarding other responsibilities regarding customer service. I have been working at the mtn call centre for over 3 years now and I have learnt so much regarding customers satisfaction. I have also had to deal with irate customers and that actually improved me for the next customer because I then learnt alot and improved too. It has been great working at the call centre and I have enjoyed most of it.

Pros: Great knowledge gathering and more experience.
Cons: When dealing with irate customers over 9 hours a day

Not a good working environment

Not much opportunity in The SSH at the moment and also the company doesn't really consider personal needs as they have made a big decision to relocate without consulting the staff. There is also favoritism from management
