since i was hired by MMI Holding they taught me how to communicate and understand different types of culture background. I really enjoy to work as team working for insurance company taught me a lots in terms of honesty and integrity. This job made me realize that dress code is the most important tool and it describe the type of job you doing. Insurance taught me the professionalism

Way behind in driving quality and not moving with technology
Whilst most people are friendly, welcoming and helpful, this business lacks tremendously on QUALITY of service and quality measurements. Lagging far behind where technology is concerned and still wasting many funds on things like paper, top management travelling all over south africa to other offices instead of having more VC meetings etc. Low and little care or interest in staff on the grassroots level by top management. The atmosphere at work is stiff and too policing. Top management has lots to learn still about true vision and creating an empire where people are passionate about what they do and will jump leaps and bounds for their company and brand due to how they are treated. people are not treated very nice :-(
Pros: You have a 'job'
Cons: Top management does not value staff neither gets people on grassroots level more involved. No structure and no proper quality measurements in place. Definitely needs proper QA system.

Great culture

Brilliant Culture to work for
Everyday is like a brand new day with lots of learning, i enjoy the working environment with my teammates, diversity and cultural differences is what i learn to Appreciate one another, working and working under pressure is what i enjoy most and multi task is what challenges me the most and bring the best in me

Great experience
I have worked in various organisation, but to have to work for MMI Holdings was a great achievement for me, I took pride in my work, telling myself each day that today I will be better than yesterday. The working conditions and the way I was welcomed to the team was overwhelming, I guess it' s what drove me to actually learn to be better everyday, I guess I did not wanted to disappoint my superiors after they were warm and patient with me. I was so good with customer service, I even get praised by the customer, she was very happy with how I assisted her. My leader was also pleased with my performance. Over and all it was such a fun place to work at. I am greatful for the wonderful opportunity I got.

Working within the Marketing Team
Everyday is the same day having my log book or to do list everyday. I have a good relationship with my I'm working for a busy department so i have learned so much such as time management engaging with team members and communication the most challenging days when we have a due date with such loads of work then we have to work until late. I have developed my people skills , I have learned through email, phone, instant messaging, or personal visits and try to utilize these preferences when engaging with my colleagues.
Pros: MMI is great place to work, it is has great people to work with

Passionate about growing in the medical aid industry
i have learnt how to adapt easily in my workplace. i enjoy to see my clients happy after servicing them i make sure all questions are answered and queries resolved i have learnt how to be professional at all times . to always smile even if something wrong had happen during interaction with members.i love challenges because it makes me grow in the medical aid industry.

Excellent learning curve
MMI Holdings is a great company with great people who believe in teamwork. Call center department is about clients claims, queries, creating authorization and escalations. I enjoyed all my duties. The most challenging aspect is dealing with a difficult client, you have to understand what makes them difficult, where the misinformation or misunderstanding occurred then check if it is in line with the company's rules. Finally find means to the solution.

Excellent learning curve
My name is Ofentse Abrey Maphakela, An IT professional with a passion and drive to constantly work towards being the best version of myself. I am currently studying part-time towards my post-graduate studies in Information Technology. I have inter-personal and communication skills; that I believe are essential to any working and team-based environment. I’m very much interested in interchangeably using Information Technology across all disciplines to provide solutions to problems. Problem solving, and numerical data handling skills are also one of my strong points as well as the ability to think out the box and constantly recreate my perspective.
