Exellent opportunity to grow in mining industry

I've learned a lot in this company, gave me opportunity to work in different plants where they produce the base metal. Im working as a Boilermaker and sometimes do rI going and fitting.

I am a hardworking person, driven by achieving my personal and workplace goals. I am committed to my work and loyal to and in my workplace. I always aim to do more than expected of me and to succeed in whatever task is at hand. I have a passion for Occupational Safety and believe that I can make a difference in this field. I have gained experience and knowledge through assisting the Safety department and Management with DMR inspections, General plant inspections and Incident and Accident investigations; Drafting, revising and conducting Internal training on Procedures and Risk assessments. I also have the function of a Safety Systems Administrator – maintaining the SHEQ procedure system on procedures, legal appointments and procedure index and Legal training compliance. Also assisting with other general Safety duties, SHE System audits and upkeep of the SHE system, monthly Safety topics, and monthly Health topics.

Excellent learning environment

I believe I possess the right combination of skills and experience that are well suited for the position. I would enjoy the challenge of working within a company that incorporates rotations through development within the organisation. Through my studies and experience I have learnt analysis, design and management techniques in different industries. During my placement at Glencore Training Centre Coal SA I worked as a Contracts Administrator and later a Facilitator, I can apply my theoretical knowledge of health and safety, training, presentation skills, document control and customer services principles

A typical work day

No salary to go with the experience gained a constant struggle financially looking for better health care benefits and more salary than the my current employer

Gained great experience over the 11 years that i have work for the company

Company has good values. Company looks after their employees the company is also international. There is a lot of opportunities to grow and to be promoted.

Pros: Learning new skills getting training to expand your knowledge to be more productive....
Cons: Long hours of physical work.
