Excellent learning curve

Minopex is a contracting company, which is part of DRA. We specialise in mining and mineral processing both on the design and construction, and operations and maintenance fields. Working for Minopex has been very interesting and i have gain invaluable experience and knowledge in engineering and production working for the different mining houses in the platinum mining industry. As a plant engineer, i lead a multi skilled engineering team to ensure world class plant performance and safety.

Pros: working with different clients.
Cons: not much room for growth

EXCELLENT WORKING ENVIRONMENT

MY JOB IS VERY INTERESTING AND ENJOYABLE,BUT THE EARNINGS IS NOT THE WAY AS IN LINE TO WHAT I AM DOING.THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ME AND CO-WORKERS IS RIGHT BECAUSE I MAKE SURE THAT THEY SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF THE WORK OF INDIVIDUALS.I HAVE LEARNT TO THAT IN WHAT EVER YOU DO YOU MUST GIVE YOUR BEST CONCENTRATION.I ENJOY THE RELATIONSHIP OF MY CO-WORKERS AND THE RESPECT THEY SHOW IN MY WORK.THE MOST CHALLENGING IS WHEN THE IS MAINTENANCE AND IT IS DURING THE END OF THE MONTH,THE GUYS YOU WILL FIND THEM TIRED AND NOT HAVING PATIENCE WHEN LOOKING FOR SPARES.

Working for an Excellent Client

My Day Start At 6am every morning Weekly We a Platinum processing Plant. Safety, Health and Quality is our Priority. Our Client is Anglo the number one Platinum Producer in the world and it is driven by Quality and Customer Satisfaction company We are a community based company and most of our Employees are from the community, I provide training , Guidance and Support to the Employees. I hope I will be a valuable Asset in your company

Work Ethics

I have simple but effective personal strategies and work ethics at work. I start my day with challenges i can change now and develop and strategies on the things i struggle to finalize. Treat all employees equally "Respect is earned and not bought". In my line of work i have learned that to never assume anything but be assured , assumptions never resolve anything. Good attitude is always appreciated at any work area even if pressure is to much. Love learn new things "I steal with my eyes and ears in the field where the actual work takes place and in offices where the more technical aspects are brought forward". My biggest challenge will always be to be competitive on a professional capacity and personal capacity is to leave my family when i work abroad.

Excellent Learning Curve

I am a hardworking quick learner with good planning and organizing skills, easier to get along and work with. I have excellent typing skills I’m also able to deal courteously with customers and has full command on data sorting, analysis, and recovery procedures. Being an extroverted person, I believe you will find my candidacy highly suited for a Data Entry Clerk. The job I am applying for is a good opportunity for me to work actively and productively in my field of expertise and apply my skills. My aim is to make a difference in my workplace through my contribution and to touch the lives of my co-workers through my positive attitude. I am a self-starter and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I am also in possession of a code 10 driver’s license, PDP and my own roadworthy vehicle for Job call outs.

Great learning Curve

The environment challenges and allows for non specialized roles thereby allowing one to learn about multiple facade of the operations . The work space required high level of commitment and dedication while there is little room for error because we working for a client. The company structured is lean allowing for contact with exec management but the company culture is the is hierarchy and it seems to be difficult to grow which in the company, it follows that not only excellent job takes you through but knowing someone important is key .

Pros: Not restricted to one role
Cons: Long working hours & no opportunity for promotion or growth

Good exposure to safety

Have learnt a lot about safety and the mining legislature. My office admin skills improved. Over worked with little appreciation. most of the times I'm in the office and only do field work during acting periods. tired of doing the same thing over and over without growth

Pros: Good company to gain experience and training
Cons: Given roles and responibliest outside my scope of work and no remuniration

Hectic at first but it is worth being here

Very busy in the morning's with everyone wanting to do and finish with their assignments, it is like a family business we understand each other and am always willing to go extra mile to help everybody.I like the fact that the job keeps me on my feet and that fits my style of work. The worse case scenario is when someone want to put his or interest before the company's interest

Cons: We do put in an extra working hours as to support maintenance crew and guys on breakdowns
