Excellent learning curve

Due to restructuring within the group, half of our internal and external sales were moved. I am now busy about 60% of the day, which is not challenging enough for me. My relationship with co-workers are excellent. I am respected in the sales and marketing department and my co-workers look up to me. I have learnt that giving your all and taking pride in your work pays off as my line managers show their appreciation. I enjoy organizing events and receiving positive feedback from our customers with regards to the event. The most challenging aspect of my job is working for 3 managers, who all have different personalities. I would like to further my career in events and that is the reason I did a 2 year course to obtain my diploma in Entertainment Events Management, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Fitter and turner

Hardworking, respecting, honest and a good person. Willing to learn when neccessary. A good communication skills and able to with a team. maitaining and repairing of broken machinery and other mechanical components. Fault finding while attending breakdowns on a limited time.

Pros: there are lots of great opportunity form being an artisan, when you realy know the plant and attend everything in time. You were being able to be a supervisor of mechanical workshop.
Cons: it was a great working time because we were working shifts so it was great

Qualified artisan

I'm trained to moster plant mechinaries, working with conveyor belts, conveyor chaines, bearings, rotating fans, shafts, various types of Velves, gear box, pumps and many more

Pros: I'm too excellent to my working

Good learning curve

The work we do is mostly production arcelormittal supply wth steel coil and cut and supply companies dealing wth steel, the job i do is read jobcard on wht is requird for me 2 cut and balance the jobcard after cuttng what is requird,I hav learned a lot at macsteel because macsteel is is my first real job and i ve irrrived there as a general assistant and i worked my way as a machine operator but the problem is its a company with not much of opportunities for me 2 grow further than i am at the moment and i feel more exposer, its a good working place ofcos with good people,the most challenging is making sure that the material i cut is what requird by the jobcard

Pros: There ar not much opportunities to grow
Cons: long working hours

Team work and working under pressure

I’m a qualified draughtsman with 2years experience. I’m looking for a job anywhere in the country. I have 2 years drawing with AutoCad and Sigmanest. I’m self motivated and hard working person. I’m willing to learn more and gain more knowledge on the draughtsman work
