Good times
I do realise how fortunate i have been to always be part of an excellent team and to be in the positions to gain valuable experiences. A regular working days activities are usually guided by a annual plan and KPI's, but the regular unpredictable problems or incidents is what really keeps it interesting. I have very good working relationships with my colleagues which is from the assistant to Director level, and i believe the key is respect for people and consistent behaviour. The most enjoyable and simultaneously the most challenging thing is complete ownership of my role and function and working without supervision and control and to be monitored and evaluated on outcome and performance alone.

Knowlwge, experience and engage with different people and learn new things daily.
Working long hours will make you to undesired the position or will push you not to understand the quality the company .Focus more client than employees working for the Company . Daily challenges that destruct your career. will push to another stringent decision

Imperial group is fantastic, just not the CPG division. Imperial Retail Logistics was an awesome team, this was before the terrible merger that affected many people's lives negatively. Sad that many good people had to leave Imperial. What a great loss as those people were strong intellengent individuals.

The Oils and Lubes part of the business is not like the rest of the CPG business.
My typical wok day starts at 07h30 and there is no finishing times. I work late every day. Due to this part of the logistics branch being heavily unionised, I find it easy to work with unions and their demands. Always work hard and persevere cos one day you will reap the rewards. I enjoy accomplishing solutions to problems then

Tought decision making
-Obtain deliveries from the customer and develop daily delivery planning. -Create trip sheets and ensure that all relevant documents and other requirements are provided. -Tracking and communication with Drivers during trips to give continuous update to the customer. -Ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation after deliveries for processing. -Brief and debrief Drivers to identify constraints, problems or incidents encountered. -Ensure that Drivers adhere to the safety protocols. -Monitor maintenance of vehicles by reporting breakdowns, defects and up to date service.

Good placement of business knowledge
Good relationship with employees on my site, capture daily data on my master ops assign drivers trucks and loads according to the demand plan. Discuss daily loads with management and any overtime to be worked after i receive report back from driver's, make sure drivers is informed of overtime to be worked.
