Excellent learning curve, great company to work for
Its a great company to work for. Always willing to develop employees further. I would love to work for this company for a long time, IBM is both professional and career fulfilling. I just hope they can do away with long term contractors and make employees permanet atleast after 12 months of employment with them. Overall, im always eager to join their term. Great compay

Excellent learning curve
Unfortunately growth is extremely slow or non existent. No opportunity to go permanent. My co - workers were great as they all came from different countries. I worked on a Dutch helpdesk supporting a major Dutch bank ABN AMRO. We supported everything from password resets to software installation and maintenance. Remote desktop rake over. Creating accounts in AD.

Great Opportunity
Great atmosphere altogether and being part of the OSS team based at Standard Bank of South Africa was wonderful, having the opportunity to interact with different people and sharing an immense wealth of knowledge. I easily adapted to the technologies and systems in place as compared to my previous employer which for me showed how adaptable I can become as long as the attitude is right. I still want to dwell down into more deeper things, exposure to different backup and archive tools. I hope I will be considered for this opportunity to exercise my passion and drive in the field.

Remain on being proactive in the IT environment
To whom it may concern, Well working for IBM gives you an opportunity to tackles various elements in IT, whether familiar or not - your client expect you to attend to every single one of their problems while maintaining the ability to talk to them during the process. Once you manage to resolve their issues, the client build a relations and recommends you to their team members. The most important part, we do not know everything but working as a team allow you to breakdown and sort a great wide numbers of issues. I make sure I arrive early and greet my teammates on the floor and give them feedback or suggestions on how to better sort out issues. Everyday it's an opportunity to learn a new way or thing.

My day consisted of taking handover meetings Problem Solving Incident management People Management Making Decisions at Change Advisory Board Meetings(CAB) My Relationship with workers was very excellent Built up a good team Was a good team player.
