I am an extrovert person, hard working and very innovative.
Working at my company has taught me lot of experience in stores working as a clerk and at the Planned maintenance as a clerk also. at stores I was capturing the requisitions, invoices, receiving stock and issuing. at Planned maintenance I am scheduling, capturing works orders for maintenance , break downs and callouts.

My experience on the working industry
I have a total of 4yrs in Environmental Management in both private and public sectors, I started as a Environmental awareness campaigner with Polokwane Local Municipality in 2014, graduate intern at The National Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 2015, In 201 I joined Dyambyini construction as a Project Coordinator for Sekhukhune district and 2017 I am currently working with Harmony Gold as an Environmental Officer graduate. I learned a lot about environmental management, my responsibilities at EGM included waste management, dust monitoring, water quality monitoring, EIA, Environmental risk assessment, Identification of alien invasive species and eradicating identified alien species, Environmental site inspection, single stack emissions monitoring and a lot more. I assist the company with ISO Standard, water use license and waste management license.
Pros: great opportunity and learning a lot.

Excellent growing curve
Good day, My accurate picture would be that working for Harmony has been interesting in many levels working with people of different diverse back round is always refreshing, challenging and informative in many levels. My typical work would start with checking and updating outlook depending on the needs of my managers I support. I would receive and distribute mail and respond to emails and send them in the morning depending on needs of requests of my clients. I enjoy people more than anything, seeing results/happiness of a happy client! The most challenging aspect of my job would be people who have little respect for people (unprincipled people). I believe that people should be respected irrespective of their position, gender, religious believes and status. Kind Regards, Mary

Excellent learning curve especially for a person who new in the industry
I am a very hard working person since school and I get along well with my co-workers. I like this field so much I see my self in bigger shoes than i am currently in five years time. We start very early in the morning with our day to day routines. I enjoy multi-tasking because aaas we have reports to compile everyday labour availability in all aspects . I have learnt so much I now work perfectly with a team as well as independent so I have grown to love HR so much. The challenging part of it is the Disciplinary Hearings as employees tend to look at you when things don't work in their favour. I enjoy helping helping people.

Excellent learning curve
Working in the mining industry has its challenges, but that makes it interesting. I love working with people and interancting with the foremen is one of the many highlights. One of my strenghts is working on Excell and it often happen where I would be requested to assist is developing reports. I enjoy it to develop new and helpfull excell workbooks.
Pros: Great oportunity to learn everything regarding the Mining industry
Cons: Being a male environment, woman are often treated unfairly

Great Exposure
have been employed at company for the past ten years, i joined Harmony as graduate fresh from university. Therefore I was deployed at the Shaft to learn more about the core business of company. I became an Assistant HRO, then I was given more exposure of dealing with workforce as my clients and also providing service for line management. I have been acting numerous as HR Officer, in order the learn the in depth of supervisory capacity. In 2014 was promoted as HR Officer, where I learn the roles of been the supervisor, with proven ability to take taking sound decisions and provide feedback if necessary. I developed and maintained a good relationship between employees and line management, by resolving grievances and internal disputes effectively. Further i had an extensive knowledge of organized labour and CCMA processes.

Not muchvlearning curve
all the work that we do is simple work nothing intensive just big work load every day but coping well doing a few things difrent like up grading to new tech and working on systems like oragal and pivot Tue company still using old methods and not new ways they are hiring young ghuys to work there buy they just don't cope as it is heavy equipmand and hard work but it is simple work to many meetings no time to do the actule work planning is not done like its supposed to ; many chiefs and not anouth man power

Good learning platform
I have completed my National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry from the Vaal University of Technology. For three years, including a work integrated learning as it a part of the university modules. My main fields of study are Analytical Chemistry, Organic, Inorganic, Physical Chemistry and Quality Assurance. During my studies, I have found that my interests are focused particularly in the area of Organic Chemistry with emphasis on Inorganic chemistry and Quality Assurance. I have got good exposure in the chemical field during my internship at Harmony Gold Mine. I am a fast learner, very keen to learn new standard procedure and I have good knowledge of the safety procedures and chemical reactions. I also have good knowledge in chemical wet analysis and instrumental analysis. XRF, AAS, GC, HPLC and FTIR.

I have learnt to stand up and speak up for my self whenever i need something.
I am working as HR Intern at Harmony.When I stared working in the mining industry i could not understand people behavior because there is more pressuere ,very hush behavior but i have learnt how to handle such behaviors. During my first week,there was a reserch that was being done but there was no one to write the research, i volunteered my self and i did the report,the Unions and the Manager were very happy ,they even signed it. I once had to do two jobs at the same time in a week, I worked for both HR and Administration department. There was no one to do the jobs,so i was asked to handle both departments by my Mananger. I have learnt multi-tasking. I have learnt how to present, i learnt confidentiality ,i have learnt be an advanced communicator and to be an easy or more flexible person. I was starting to be recognised by workers and when it was time to do my training at another place ,the workers did no want me to leave.
Pros: Good communication skills, undersatnding different behaviors ,teamwork and individual work,confidentiality and customer service.
Cons: Pressure from workers, small number of females.
