Working for G5

I enjoy working for Group Five because they have a great sense of camaraderie. On the project I have been working on, I get to meet new people on a daily basis. I have learnt patience when working with people who need to be reminded constantly about whats needed on a daily basis. I have learnt to become a mother to some of the SO's on site as they need me for most things on site. My most challenging aspect would have to be working with a client who is undecided about what is needed as their criteria seems to be ever changing on a daily basis. As much as they have a great sense of comaraderie as an employee we are just a number and no matter how many years you have been with the company many times when you leave your time would have gone by unnoticed.

Pros: They do make an attempt to get the employees to rally together to get the team spirit going.
Cons: Long working hours, in the end your but only a number in a huge company no matter the great work you might have done.

Good and ambitious

I'm a very ambitious young individual. I always want to learn new things in life and I love challenges. I always get things done no matter what it takes

Excellent learning

Excellent learning I got at group five that were administration and site supervision. I can do all office and site works excellent because I know how to work as a team and I lookout for help if needed. I am looking for potential employer in KZN to work for them immedate.

Pros: I am hard worker who like to push for company.
Cons: Commited to work over time and long hours.

I am a matured man willing to learn on daily basis. I like to involve right people when in doubt.

I like to be early and prepared a day as early as possible I always update my team members with tasks and make myself available to assist my team members I always learn new things in my team not only on how to do my job better I enjoy when we do trouble shooting as a team The challenging thing is when you have to make decision at midnight when I am doing standby.

Pros: I am always willing to be high up especial as technical advise in the field.
Cons: I don't like to work unplanned long hours as it causes some delay in the personal time.

Excellent learning

Working with Group Five has taught me so much about the Petrochemical Industry. I have formed great business relationships with both Group Five and Shell. I dealt mainly with the Shell personal and have really formed lasting bonds with them. Our Admin Team on this project really came together to achieve our goals. Our brainstorming sessions where always productive and proactive for our project. It is very fascinating industry and every day you learn something new. It was very challenging when dealing with the breakdowns as figuring out who to call to assist.

Challenges

Construction improves many peoples lives. I do not only learn the engineering aspect of what I build but also the processes involved, for example, building a water treatment plant, you learn what process the water goes through before you can drink it, which we take for granted. My job has taught me how important it is to focus on smaller detail and to be able to always have a plan b. Managing a big group of people, with different personalities, different cultures is very challenging. being able to keep them motivated to always do their best is challenging, but my work has allowed me to learn how to deal with it. Get to know your team and identify which leadership quality brings out the best of him.

Go getter.

Normally 8 working hours a day. I like team work but I can also work independently. All my co-workers fibnd me approchable and eaasy to get along with. I have learned alot from my previous company it gave me confidence. I mostly enjoy challenging work because I gain experience ourt of it.
