Great experience kick-start

Working for the company, I've learnt quite a lot of things, most importantly I've learnt how to stay intact with other employees when the company is not doing well. I enjoy it when there's I get to be involved in problem solving when we have quality issues.

Priority in the face of complexity:

As an entry level Packaging Manager, I acquired knowledge in Production Variances and the importance of managing waste in order for the business to remain financially fit. The SLAs guides the department to ensure it remains efficient through ensuring all service departments are held accountable for delivering on the promise. Interpersonal relations particularly with critical support departments like Engineering must be harnessed to ensure reliability is optimized for throughput requirements. Juggling many variables and ensuring priority is given to quality, safety and morale has been most exciting and challenging at the same time.

Cons: High staff turn around resulting in excess vacancies, excessive use of unskilled contracted labour pool, very complex environment with over 50 SKUs

Excellent working environment

Enjoy working with customers and learning co all the time i visit my customers and also understand people's need and wants, meeting diverse group of people who are always willing to learn and listen to what im selling to themnsumers

Excellent learning curve

I am appointed to ensure overall equipment efficiency on my shift .Keep machines running at all cost and repair breakdowns as quick as possible. Do effective,plannned, preventative maintanence on all machines. Repair and manufacture spare parts for machines. Take part in mini business meetings. Train people according to standards.

Pros: Get exposed to a very fast FMCG plant.
Cons: Limited chances of promotion.

Excellent learning curve

I will like to work for a company were I can get more exposer as to pursue a career in project administration/coordinating to become a project manager. Will like to branch out to become a project manager.

Fast learner

I am a hard worker and fast learner.And am team player and working with experience people motivate me.working with my team was good thing because they were like family to me.I learn few machine like filler,labeller and packer.
