I won'something more than being a driver so I can build my career
I have worked as fieldwork coordinator and as a supervisor before, so so working as a driver made me understand more the logistics/supply chain and Transport. I am a hard worked dedicated to what I do.

The most challenging aspects of my job
coordinating deliveries and supply from various suppliers locally , nationally and international. Stock shortages which have potential of stopping production Suppliers not adhering to delivery schedules

Facilitating work assignments – Receiving and setting up work Orders, Appointing work crews, sending out transport vehicles And delegating the daily workloads. Updating spreadsheets And typing relevant information into customer. Filling needed paperwork in physical and digital forms.

Interesting environment riddled with a lot of incompetences
Environment would be better if it was people centred. Currently I do not experience this. Another problem is that people do not managetheir work effectively, such that it affects my input in reporting. I do not see people with a respect fot timelines. This makes it harder for those who await their work as input. It is disheartening if you have sent a schedule, reminder emails and even calls and yet still are delayed.

Excellent learning curve
Working there was a great opportunity for me to meet new people and know lot of places. The industry taught me a lot about logistics and warehousing. My relationship with the workers was great I understood how they operated on regular basis and they enjoyed my company also. I learnt a lot at DHL especially in the warehouse, were you have to pick items and know them by names and item numbers and how important it is to work under pressure. What I enjoyed the most is Data Capturing 'cause it taught me how to be quick and how to work well under pressure. The most challenging aspect of the job was tracking the tracks of which it took me two months to know everything about tracking the vehicles. I'm grateful that I've learnt a lot there at DHL.

Excellent learning curve
im good honest reliable hard worker and well presentable i give 110% of my self if not i make sure that it is done correctly and the way its been expected.im a quick leaner profficient with ms office,power point,basic access,call centre,sap,receiving and office clerk.im good with people and i enjoy working with all types customer service is also important.

Great opportunity for growth
it is such a nice company to work for with a good culture planted in all employees driven by wanting to move forward. some times we work long hours and shift pattern depending on work load and customer requirement. it is a good place to work for as you lean how to tolerate and accommodate individuals with different character as we liaise with clients mostly. Remember when working with client or customers, you have to be professional as practicable as possible and dress professionally without compromising industrial PPE requirement. i have work in work with all department and all operations as i control quality management system with give me an exposure to be in a role where i am the one to balance operations, business relationship with client, health and safety of the employees, client and visitors and also quality which includes customer satisfactions.

Fast learner, go getter and a hard worker
 AM A HARD WORKING PERSON WHO CAN WORK WELL WITHIN A GROUP AND INDIVIDUALLY. I AM OPEN MINDED WITH THE ABILITY TO DELIVER GIVEN TASKS GOOD RESEARCH AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS. I'M GOOD WITH FIGURES AND FIND CHALLENGES FASCINATING BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE I EXCELL MOST.

Great learning curve
Every day is different, challenging since This is a busy, fast paced operation which offers many challenges and opportunities for the right person. we have got a healthy and positive team work as we all know and understand each others strengths and weakness, I learnt how to lead the stuff, communicate and lead by example as its always encourage me and make me understand that there is always room for improvement I have been enjoying month end challenge in terms of cut-off where orders has to be picked,invoiced and dispatched before 00:00 on last day of the month where volumes used to be higher.
Pros: I have promoted four time in a period of 6 years
Cons: Am capable and flexible to worked extra hours due to operational requirement

Great expereince & a good learning curve
It is a great experience working here, so much to learn regarding handling pressure, interpersonal communication with co workers, its always good to know that when things don't go well you can rely on someone for assistance (team work) like when system shuts down & you have to do everything manually & be extra cautious that was challenging to me at first but i can always manage having a well constructed team around me
Pros: recognition is very possible
Cons: not having lunch sometimes
