What I love about the environment I work in is that it is always changing which means I am always learning something new. I also like the fact that people rely on me for a lot of legal things and I can see the effect that I make in the organisation.
Pros: working hours
Cons: no real prospects of growth as the company is an engineering company and it is more focused on the engineers.

Excellent career start
The company is great and the working environment is great, and for that reason learning is easier. Each member of the team is always willing to help out to pass experience to junior workers. Most of the time I spent writing coding whether it's solving bugs or making new developments. I enjoyed the part where I get to interact with some electronics and see the physical output of the work that I've done.
Pros: Great to learn coding

My tasks at Denel Land Systems as a Senior MAnager
- First thing i do in the morning is to great all the employees who report to me, either by having coffee with them or walking to each and everyone in their offices - I then review yesterday plans for today and compare with today's situation to see if there's changes on my schedule - I check if there's new appointments that i have been booked recently - I then follow up with all the employees on the tasks that i gave them to see if there's good progress. This helps me to find out if they're experiencing problems or not - I then check with my Executive Manager and the responsibilities he gave me or planned for me - Based on those interactions i allocate work to myself and to my subordinates - I have learnt to be delegate, provide leadership to employees and support - I enjoy seeing employees being proud of achieving the targets and happy to come to work - Most challanges aspects of my job is to take blame for my subordinate's faults and to break bad news to them.
Pros: Denel land systems is an engineering company is that i have been exposed to work in a leadership position and i have been groomed to become a leader. I have been taught to work with various engineering disciplines and to ensure that there's always mutual understanding and respect. I have been trained lead senio employees as well and some of them are more qualified than me but i think due to my leadership skilss they requested me to lead those employees. Working for Denel made me to go through hard times where i have been exposed to difficult situation and having to be grilled by the CEO. I have been taught to craft the Company's Busines Strategy and present it to EXCO members.
Cons: Cons are related to dealing with different cultures, disrespect and long working hours. There's also witch hunt if one does not support projects are done unethically.

Experience of a lifetime
My relationship with co-workers is sincere, we have a good working relationship and we get along fine. I have learnt that the military/defense force industry is not easy, a lot of work, time and energy is put in to make our clients happy at all times. Delivery of any items procured is of time of the essence for a fruitful outcome.I enjoyed seeing a manufactured item being presented to the client and knowing that i had a part in those items being procured, ensured delivered and presented in time.I learnt building a supplier relationship is important and maintaining it will be a challenge most times. And seeing more clients from all ends of the world being interested in doing business with us.The most challenging aspects was maintaining a supplier relationship, after trust has been broken. Amending the relationship would take time and effort to make things go back to the way they were. Assisting a new supplier in the industry on how the military environment works and what is expected of them.
Pros: Great opportunity for permanent position
Cons: Contractors not considered in most times

it is one of the great company in land wards. the is growth in DLS. i have a good relationship with my co workers. our ultimate goal is to deliver at the right place at the right time.

Excellent growing and learning opportunity
I get to work with various people and learn from different people. great opportunities of growth, skills are transferred. The company is being flexible in terms of working in different departments, one gets to learn more and grow individually. I have experienced great human contact within the company, who are always ready to assist and help one learn company protocol. I have grown as a person who has ambitions. the company even offers bursaries for individuals wanting to enhace and or further their studies. So growth at this company in immeasurable, it also increases your chances of promotion. I enjoy being flexible in terms of learning different job positions and departments. the challenging part working under this company has been working as a contractor. I would like to grow and be permanent employee so I can also be afforded same opportunities of growth.

Im applying for this position because i am currently dony have a permanet job
a typical work day I like is to work under all my co- workers and my relationship my co-workers is to treat one another with respect I have learned to work under pressure even to understand different types of people I enjoy working as team with other staff members the most challenging things at job is to deal with deadlines that you cant delay to manage them

Quick learner and great team player
I have been employed in the trade field since from October 2013 to September 2014 as an electrical trainee (leaner ship) at P&T TECHNOLOGY AND EMPERORS PALACE. And in February 2015 I was employed at DENEL LAND SYSTEMS as millwright apprentice and I completed my training on the 17th of may 2018 when I passed my millwright trade test at NECSA NUCLEAR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT. I am currently with the company as a junior artisan. I easily adapt myself to a new environment and interested in learning new things. I am willing to go mile to ensure that I will be successful in the position should I be appointed.

Transformation and excellent
Typical work day is hectic My relationship with co-worker is good communication and dedication. I learned to work as an individual as an supervisored . I've enjoyed accompanied with co-workers. Deadline challenge to reach the target and overtime as the production should run quicker.

Great experience
I was working at Denel land systems as artisan ( electrician). .Was checking continuity testing on harnesses .Basket assembly as well as Turret .Executing ATP level 3 and level 5 .Servicing machines .Domestic installations It was a great experience and people are were friendly into an extent we would go for team building sessions. I enjoyed learning about guns and most difficult part was working with clients and you show them what you have learnt.
Pros: Great working experience
Cons: When it's busy we would work up until at 10.00pm
