Project Management Support
I am a highly motivated, ambitious, fresh thinking, enthusiastic, dependable individual who is passionate about professional and personal growth. Currently I am employed as a Project Management Support at Denel Land Systems in the Business Planning Office. My interest in this position is because I trust this position is a conducive Project Management environment that will allow me to apply a huge amount of my acquired multidisciplinary projects experience as I have sound knowledge of PMBOK Principles due to my exposure experience on the application thereof. I am a: - Strong driver, self-starter, ambitious, results oriented, go-¬getter and have s strong analytical ¬ and fact based decision making abilities. - Strong administrative background- ¬ good with procedures, processes and best practices. My project management background will allow me to apply my acquired skills while adding value to the organisation.

Excellent learning curve
I work as an administrator for a Dog Unit. My daily duties is to make sure all personnel sign the attendance register everyday. Capture leaves and overtime for employees. Making sure that everything runs smooth for the day. Although I am not hands on with dogs but I assist where possible. We are a team that works collectively and we understand each other and respect. I really enjoy helping out because I am a people's person. I have learnt that in life you are the master of yourself if you want things done ,do them yourself be the change you want to see. I believe in first impressions last do your best at all times. I get so irritated when things are not completed I do not like to leave unfinished tasks. I get bored easily hence I keep myself learning new things.
Pros: it is a very different environment from what I have been exposed to in previous years. however it is exciting because I like new challenges.
Cons: we hardly work long hours

Create 3D models and 2D models
I work as designer. i design using drawing software Creo 2. i work with jigs and fixtures. i will receive a problem from the production manager who works with artisans who work in assembly manufacturing. The manager and artisans are my clients since they will use the jig or fixture. after i receive a problem I ask the artisans what kind of jig would they like and how would they most feel comfortable using it. i then model three concepts showing how the jig or fixture will move if there is motion or rotation required. These three concepts are then presented to the artisans and manger for their input and choosing the best concept. Once the concept has been chosen a detail design must be created and detail drawings must be created for manufacturing. i hand over my drawing to be checked by a senior engineer than the drawings are submitted for manufacturing. i also need to call suppliers for availability of material or part.
Pros: you are involved from design to manufacturing to assembly of your own product. You learn a lot being involved in the life cycle of your design

My current company does not have any growth opportunities for me and although engineering work grows, the environment is difficult for females to thrive

Learning and growth
Working at DLS is so much challenging. The environment includes complex project, need workers. I enjoy daily to wake up, knowing that I will encounter a different problem when I hit the ground. It is exciting to work with this team. Always happy to lead such a vibrant team. Communication is the key here, enjoy working with them. They also miss me if I am not at work on the day. Enjoy working with me. I am a team player, always focused on achieving our organisational / project objectives. I have learnt a lot since joining DLS 4 year back. I have learnt not to give up when challenges hit the project. Even if its tough, always pick up my shoulders. No give up attitude, positive and willing to unlock bottle necks.
Pros: Great opprortunity to learn and be exposed in Millitary Industry
Cons: No urgency to drive things sometimes

Career growth
I am young black male in search of career growth. I am 22 years old of age and a qualified electrician by profession. I would like to branch into different fields or sectors of the industry and I am willing to relocate should opportunities arise outside the country. I am fast learner and I always challenge myself to grow on the learning curve. I am a wonderful team performer and have great leadership skills. I am able to work efficiently under pressure, I can also translate skills to others who require my assistance.

Opportunity to grow as an employee and best way to move forward
I want to prove I am the best at what I do. I am the first person in the office and the last one to leave. I am not afraid to ask questions and learn from every mistake. I never make the same mistake twice. I never have to be told to do something. I have the work ethic of a champion. I am optimistic, resilient, creative and timely. I am a people person. These qualities make me an indispensable asset to your company. I hold an honours in Industrial Organisation Psychology and I have passed on module for OD course at University of South Africa. I have done several HR courses through VIP Payroll or Sage Company, which I have mentioned in my CV. I am willing to enhance my skills, using my talent and ability. I want to prove to all of you that I can perform well and you will never regret that you hired me

Challenging environment but growth is limited
The 3 years i have been with Denel, the culture does not suit the level of growth where the organisation should be. Change is very difficult to happen and people are not adjusting to the economical changes we going through as a country. The leadership management in this organisation its non effective, people are not encouraged or motivated to excel in their field. The current cash situation is making people to be despondent and less motivated. The program I am involved with very challenging and interesting, very critical to the cash injection and liquidity of the organisation but Management are finding it hard to prioritize. we always fighting fires than to sit and reflect on what is it that the Organisation is doing wrong and strategise. Denel has the capability of changing the economical state of this country but its not willing to change the culture and address the real issues, we are not transforming and keeping up with the technological changes that impacts our products.

Always learning
What I love about the environment I work in is that it is always changing which means I am always learning something new. I also like the fact that people rely on me for a lot of legal things and I can see the effect that I make in the organisation.
Pros: working hours
Cons: no real prospects of growth as the company is an engineering company and it is more focused on the engineers.
