Duties performed were : Litter picking Empting shrivel bin Removing illegal dump Sweeping the streets My relationship wihh my co workers was very strong in terms of strong teamwork I have learnt about such skills as communication is important and should be very effectibe I most enjoy doing my my job that I'm assigned to do effectively The challenging is cleaning, Sweeping the streets streets while people are on the move some they ease you you by throwing some rubbish intentionally

Office admin

I am a HR support Intern. Learning new things everyday. Working with a great supervisor, great colleagues. The hours are good. It is always a fun filled day at city of Tshwane. I have learned a lot since I arrived here. I have learned how to deal with customers... The hardest part is leaving someone without help because of boundaries and policies I most enjoyed helping people get the service and seeing their smiles of appreciationit was a great experience and a wonderful learning curve from an intern point of view. the was never a dull moment everyday had a different experience.

Excellent learning curve and great organisation to work for

The company is lead and directed by politics and decisions are taken at an interest of a certain political party. The beauty about working for a municipality is that you become aware of the entire strategy of the country and deal with real issues facing the community at large.

Challenging job

That is a changeling job. With lot of safety preoccupations, we deal with customers every minute. We have to deliver 24 hours. People don't want to spend more than 30 minutes without electricity even though we have shortage of Artisans,

Excellent

The company offers great opportunities for growth. There is a good working relations with other employees. The company offered me great project management, design, and management experience. I enjoy working in diverse and executing a lot is tasks. The most challenging aspects is the employees disciplinary process.

Pros: There are great opportunities to grow and to develop.
Cons: There are long working hours since I am mostly on standby.

Good exposure

MANY OF US ARE NOT HAPPY BECAUSE WE ARE QUALIFIED BUT NOT RECOGNISED, THIS IS NOT A MERIT BASED ORGANISATION, IT IS FULLY POLITICALLY CONTROLLED. MY JOB IS OK AND MY COLLEQUES ARE VERY HELPFULL, MY BOSS IS THE BEST. THE REPORTING STRUCTURE IS A BIT COMPRIMISED BECAUSE OF THE POLITICAL PROTOCOL INVOLVED

Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, relationship with my co-workers is good, I can rely on them and they can rely on me for assistance, What I enjoy the most is finding solutions to the challenges I'm faced with. Dealing with difficult clients although I wouldn't say it's a challenge, for me, it's an opportunity to be holistic and flexible in my thinking and to perfect interpersonal skills.

Learn how to interact with different people from different back grounds

The working environment is great. my field colleagues are awesome. knocking in to people house is unpredictable due to other people are welcoming, while others are terrible and impatient. It all depends on the kind of person we find in the household.

Pros: working hours are short I can study
Cons: salary too low
