It very nice to work with people who understand what you want in life who also encouraged you to go after your dreams especially my one of my supervisor she is a good team leader who always tell us that we must not settled for less she always tell me that I must go to school and further my studies and I take her advice now I'm about to complete my business administration course and I have gain lot of experience such as how to handle difficult customers. And how to give excellent service to them.

Managing day to day unplanned challenges in retail environment
Starting the day off @6am and doing floor walks to ensure that the night shift staff prepared the store as instructed. Ensuring that the store is cleaned and ready for business. Service area staff prepare their various departments for trading. Check on maintenance ,safety,security,staff and shop any issues that may have arised over night and resolve before start of business. Work closely with the vaj Prepare to open on time and ensuring that our customers have a wonderful and pleasant shopping experience. Work closely with all concerned to achieve the set goals

Great experience
Working at checkers was the greatest. Experience I've ever had.I Learned about how to treat a customer ie keeping calm when the customer is angry and apologising,keeping her calm and asking what can we change to make it better.A good relationship with colleagues and understanding and helping each other in situations.I enjoy working with people.

Working with great stuff
Working at checkers its goood but ,bacausE of the stuff very friendly but the hours are being. Cuted and the salary its not good,it wasnt tht bad working there but as a human you need to grow

I started at checkers in 2014 on 2015 they make me superviser
I am a good worker with excellent experience in leading and working with a team, I got experience in dealing with deferent customers and suppliers, I always make sure that I finish my task on time, I always look for improvement in every project that I am given.
Pros: the company got great opportunit to promot people and give them the experience
Cons: only the suppervises and managers that work long hours

I learned how to solve problem and customer service.cummunication skill
I my shift I go to the cash office and take float. I have to make customer's payment. The till was my responsibility. We worked as a team with my co-worker.I learnt a lot and the please was the most enjoyable and the most challenging because we have to complete our task

Excellent learning curve
started off as a cashier and worked my way in various admin departments within the stores of Checkers. cash office clerk, data capturer, pricing and stock ledger and receiving admin clerk. was given the great opportunity to become trainee manager and on completion , was appointed as branch admin manager. it has been a pleasure to work for a growing and dynamic company. there is also great demands as working longer hours including public holidays and sundays can tire one self.

Excellent Learning curve
Its been great working there ,I get along with everyone ,the most thing i like the most is to help customers thats bring joy to myself, I've learnt to interact with different kinds of people, I also learnt to work under pressure.

Good
I'm a friendly person who always eager to learner and love to help where I can. Working with other people helps a lot because you will know when you making mistakes, i love sales because you will meet different characters daily e.g angry, happy, moody, difficult, and kind customers, I need to know how to deal with them make sure they get what they want. Being a team leader or working in a team makes anyone elses job easier. I really enjoy working in a place where you will find an employer that is able to communicate with employees.
Pros: i have started working at checkers through learnership which is NQF LEVEL 2 Wholesale and Retail Operation this qualification contains the following, customer service, receiving, administration, merchandising and cashier. through that course i managed to work in every department in the store.
Cons: i work hard and always on time but still don't get recognition, i don't know how people get promotion at work but since i have started working there no one got promoted. thats the reason i need a change
