I've learned to be flexible with lot of duties within the company. I would assist clients from my desk, cashier n outside on the ATM all at once. I've learned team work bring exceptional results.

Stepping stone

Working at capitec has given me knowledge of not just the finance industry but the customer service satisfaction delivery aspects as well. It requires high levels of energy and abilities of both independance and team work to be the best. Target driven means consistently pushing yourself beyond boundaries.

Development t and learning opportunity

I truly belie Capite. Offers great opportunities for young people to develop and create a career in banking industry. I spend most of my day interacting with consultants ensuring service is upto standard also resolving clients complaints. I enjoy the environment with the people I work with. We have a good and healthy relationship with the team. The most challenging part is when it's not possible to assist someone either because they don't have proper documentation or they are just difficult.

Pros: provides opportunity for growth if performance meets standards

Excellent learning curve, gave me experience in contact centres

i oversee a group of 10 agents, i do QA on a daily basis as well as coaching. i do weekly and daily reports on SLA. i also accept all complaints and supervisor calls. i enjoy the fact that i am able to provide a service which assists and keeps our clients happy. the most challenging part of my job is non communication from higher management as well as limited growth in our johannesburg branch

Working for capitec

It is very nice to work at capitec, working with people has improved my level of patience as an individual. I enjoy most the learning activities that they load every week for us, the most challenging thing about the job is the working hours.

Customer service experience

I work well with my colleagues as well with my management but the challenging part is long hours and its pretty hard to grow or you have to be there longer in order to be recognised in the company. I work well with my clients, the response i get from them and helping them sort out their problems if asked too.

No reputation for other job hiring nor promotion within

It's a great company but not great when the required field you interested in they don't promote. Lack of people element. Lack of growth within. Working hours are hectic. People element for recommendation is poor.

Learning curve,challenging

A typical day at work includes long hours on calls with clients. Scheduled breaks and lunches meaning you do not have lunch at the same time everyday. Relationship with other workers is ok but minimal as we are always busy with client's on the calls. What I learnt the most is to work with clients as I had never worked at a call centre before,as much as I have never worked on a customer service job. The most challenging aspects of this job is the shifts as they can be scheduled till 10pm at night(latest shift). Night shift,aswell as no off weekends. Long hours on weekends aswell. What I enjoy the most about this job is making a client's day with assisting them. Challenges are being under staffed on month end when there are system issues
