Demotivating Corporate Culture

No sense of belonging to organisation. Serious lack of commitment to quality assurance. Minimal growth potential. Customer Service needs focus. Working under a manager who is less qualified and experienced is demotivating and illogical.

Its been a great work experience and i have learned a lot from the company

It shows a great opportunity for growth. It has been a great learning curve. The company takels care of its employees. Great working environment. Company has good customer satisfaction. It is dedicated to its customers.

Excellent working training

The experience i have gathered thus far is extraordinary. I have been to a lot of training to get me to the state am in currently. The working relationship i have with coworkers is great and we get along fine,even with the field service manager. The only problem is that the pay isn't going anyway,not enough benefits to be exact. The increase is always less then the amount of expenses i.e. medical aid,etc. The is no performance bonus,no 13th cheque, actually the is no bonus at all. The is a lot of different accounts one has to deal with but no increment on pay,just more and more work load as new accounts come along.

Cons: Less opportunity for growth

Learning curve , growth , customer service

I have learned the importance of customers service and that a customer is important to the company without them there would be no company or job gor me . I have learned patience , attentiveness, time management, being reliable , honest and hard working. I have learned to be a team player .

Pros: I moved 3 positions in that company, i started in the call centre as a call logger , closer and escalation agent . I them moved to be an account controller for Macro i made sure my account calls were done within stipulated time , escalate to service agent , technicians and manager to make sure technician attend and close pur calls within SLA . I escalated to the supply chain service controllers to make sure they order required parts if we are out of stock and ship parts to technicians so they are equipped to complete the task at hand . I then moved to be a supply chain service controller making sure technicians have parts they require. Give them alternative part number if the one they require is not available. Escalated to inventory and buyers to order stock we don't have . Ship part overnight or emergency drive throughs all over SA that technicians require but don't have in stores near them
Cons: Working hours were normal 8am - 5pm and 1 Saturday once a month , but every now and then we were required to work over time on Saturday and sunday 8am - 5pm

At 47 I have had my fair share of ‘Life lessons 101’. I have a vast span of experience / knowledge gained with 10 years’ experience in telecoms infrastructure engineering, 15 years’ experience in core transmission / Project Management / backhaul methodologies / traffic and much more, 1 and a half years’ experience as an Operations Manager in the service management environment. I have built 3 dwellings to date and is absolutely passionate about fixing / restoring any item I see worth-it to fix/restore. I am a passionate, ambitious, professionally aggressive individual who strive to operate systematic and methodical with my whole being built on truth, responsibility and accountability. I am cost conscious and expect nothing less than an exceptional quality output. I am consultative, share knowledge, avoid emotional decision-making. I strive to mentor and will always find time to assist others. I lead by example with a solid ethical foundation as guide.

I work as an account controller and i make sure that calls are attended to on time

I work as an account controller, I work for Ned bank and I make sure all calls that are logged for ATM's to be serviced are serviced and within the required SLA. our relationship is good as we are like a family. I have learnt that time is very important in a company and that commitments need to be met as promised to the customer. I enjoy reaching my target on a daily basis. the most challenging aspect of my job is working with people that don't share the same aspects as me, people that respect the customer nor do they respect there positions they hold in office.

Pros: you learn daily about your customers
Cons: working on weekends and holidays

Exellent Learning curve

- A typical work day- update and close calls, deal with technicians ,customers and managers Have friendly co workers who are always willing to help the job as allowed be to improve my people skills and get out of my comfort zone Challenges include difficult technicians and customers

A+ and Basic store and stock control

Bytes is one of the biggest companies i Africa, working for bytes have been a good jearney for me i enjoyed every moment here, the managers i worked with are supper supportive and helps where one cunt understand, the company have been the only company supplying the NCR equipment in Africa
