Good learning curve

The environment on its own is amazing, you get to meet new people everyday. The opportunities given to us as employees is very amazing, I mean when I arrive there I was a Baseman then soon after they have observed my working assessment I was promoted to be a Checker , a person who checks if the size, length, thickness of the material is correct and that it is loaded I the correct truck. A year later I went for a lifting Equipment training program then I became a Crane operator

Flexible employee

The work day is typically hectic and demanding A fun working environment and good relationship with my colleagues To be more relaxed at work and enjoy the fun side of work Being around my colleagues makes my day enjoyable The unpredictability of the work

Exellect experience working.

We given experiences interms of know different kinds of steel. How to work with costumer. How to sitisfy 1costumer and not secrificing other. How to work as team Keeping my self come working under pressure

Pros: the are great oppotunites if u work hard and produce good product

I was recently retrenched due to Covid-19

Great place, but I wasn’t there long enough to give a good review. Friendly staff, despite challenging times. Hopefully turning around and the staff is happier with a pick up in the economy and a return to the new normal

Excellent learning curve

Excellent learning curve because you learn more in different ways you work with different people even from overseas good relationship with co-workers and customers i have learnt mostly the importance of communication skills i enjoyed visiting external customers most challenging aspect is communication with suppliers overseas because of language barriers

Knowledge gained

A typical day at work will consist of overseeing the warehouse and logistics department to ensure that material comes into the warehouse from the mills, processing takes place and despatches are done accurately. A lot of my work takes place on SAP system, ensuring receipts of incoming material and invoicing of despatched materials. On a weekly basis, I liaise with sales, production and procurement departments. Ad hoc activities for general manager are also done on daily basis. I work closely with a lot of people ensuring accuracy from my team members and also mentoring and coaching them as we go along. I have learnt a lot about analysing huge amounts of data between Sap and Excel and enjoy doing so!

Excellent review

I am a hard working employee and I am dedicated to my work I can work under pressure or stress and I'm willing to learn new things everyday.i take my work serious and I have respect for my colleagues and I work with love and honestly . I worked so well with my colleagues and I enjoyed most of the time with them. I learned to trust myself and to be confident and have respect to everyone young or old person i work with. I have to make clients/costumers happy all the time The challenge I have faced is to work nightshift but I adjusted. I am appointed as a safety representative and I love the roll that I'm playing it made me to study it,So I did a health and safety certificate at Oxbridge academy,and I wanna study more but I don't have enough money to.

Excellent for a firs time job

I process returns at the merchating department . Team player Good listener Can work well under pressure and with people. Take instructions very well ,can get things done on time.
