A great opportunity to grow
The company I work for now thought me a lot, including professionalism,reaching set target for sales and collection, understanding and managing people, working under preasure and time keeping. I mostly make sure staff work and is happy daily,I make sure the branch makes profit on a monthly basis and that all issues are sorted fast and sufficient. I answer all emails and report to senior management daily.

Business requires competency but also more importantly, consistent progressive performance.
A day at office could mean lot of things, however to me what I've learnt is that knowing why you are hired, and how one processes problems and provide solutions. And since people are not the same, embracing diversity is one of my found values. In a company of many, teamwork makes results fluid and come faster. I've also learnt that most challenging times can bring out the best or worst in a person, nonetheless, a progressive individual would always strive for the best (and that would be me).
Pros: Where there are targets there could also be goals. A well oiled institution is its people. People are a great resource for any company, having competent ounces is like owning a mine of gold.
Cons: Working days on end or all around the clock isn't much of a problem as long as you hit targets. Sacrifice is a golden mark for progressive people.

Great learning curve and people relations.
Early morning, lots of sales calls to make. Ensure that all the appointments go well. We try our best to reach sales target but with people not always taking loans it gets slow sometimes. We work as a team and help each other with approach and uplifting our spirit. What i enjoy most and celebrate is when a person who really needs a loan for good reasons finally gets aproved and realises that im not a scammer, we also get to travel all over Johanesburg companies speaking to people about our work. We deal with different enviroments and characters and still get the job done without too mich drama.
Pros: Great opportunity for salary increase as theres commission
Cons: Lots of advertising and sometimes dissapointments.

Challenging and busy
Atlas Finance is one of the biggest Financial Institutions in South Africa. I currently manage 6 branches around Jhb CBD and it is quite hectic. We are at a risk of dealing with fraud on a daily basis and as a result all new employees have to attend fraud training immediately after being employed. I plan my day by first checking my emails from the Executives, Directors and Head Office. By doing so it is easy for me to determine how my day will work out. I have a great team of committed staff that is willing and able to do the tasks assigned to them on a daily basis. Apart from issuing and approving loans, they have their work cut out for them as they also have Admin duties to do. I enjoy doing my branch visits as this gives the opportunity to have one on one meetings with my staff, listen tho their concerns, advise and train where necessary. The most challenging part of my duties is doing disciplinary hearings,be it for poor performance, misconduct or insubordination.
Pros: Seeing my branches growing from when I started taking them over.

I'm looking forward to hired by ur company I'm hard work and also time frame I'm strict on it . I was working at atlas finance as branch manager operating sale and collection and training staff regarding work.the relationship between me and staff was due they enjoy work with and also I enjoy because i learn more things from them respect and be responsible . My challenge was sale and collection

Good
To work at Atlas is good because we working as a team even though we are on separate departments,Yes sometimes we don't see eye to eye but at the end we reach our target as a team, Sometimes the manager will talk unprofessionally with staff but after work we sit down and share our views for that day and come up with solutions so that everyone feel happy at work.
Pros: It great working for Atlas because I have gained experience on how to work or talk to customers and also that when you work you must also teach others on what you have e.g skill,because you can never know everything in this world

It's a stepping stone to the future
I'm Dorcas Lerato Motlhala, I'm a service consultant, basically I do administration, sales consulting, customer service, data capturing and debt collector. I've been a sales consultant for 3 years and I was recently appointed as an Employment Equity member , one of the most important and difficult lesson, I've learned during this time is how to create a high-quality working atmosphere for the group of people that I work with, this area is not only where I excel as a service consultant but it is also the area I most enjoy. It is with confidence that I can say I'm very competent at my job and that I will be a good addition to your team in the future.
