The afrisam way
The afrisam way it's a culture where by we treat each other as a family. We work as team. My relationship with my management is good, they treat me like a colleague we share ideas, I make decisions at some point.

Excellent. Africa exposure.
Loved the exposure to African countries. Worked for one company who specialized in cement, aggregate, manufacturing and construction. Gave me insights into government authorities and industry bodies and formed excellent working relationships with numerous contractors and consultants. to Africa

Long working days with uncompromising work culture. Promotions come hard.
Long working days with uncompromising work culture. Promotions come hard. Overtime work is uncompensated for engineers. There are separate teams for both corrective and planned maintenance work.

Team Work
Team work: We had a customer situation that log a customer complaint of the quality of the certain stone product. I called the laboratory assistant to go personally to the customer site to look at this customer complaint of our stone product. The laboratory assistant gave feedback that the root cause of the problem is positive on our side, beacuse the customer did not order the right stone/product for the work to be done. He also explained the customer what he actually needs for the ongoing job and the customer greed us with much satisfaction as we handled the complaint in a very professional manner. Team work is always great!

Plant Maintenance pre start checks attend breakdowns.Circuits Diagrams/Panels wiring. Housekeeping
I'm I'm working under open cast mining company doing Plant Maintenance in daily basis doing pre start checks and attend breakdowns during Plant operation. I do co-ordinate with all my colleagues at work including my superiors at part of my team. So far I have learnt a lot of things in Maintenance Department mostly in Electrical Installations of Motors and Motor Testing, Designing Circuits Diagrams and wiring, Panels wiring and also DB and MCC wiring. I enjoy working as a team almost. Important thing for me is to always keep good Housekeeping everytime.
Pros: I would like to be promoted.
Cons: I always go for extra miles and working overtimes.

Millwright ( electrical and mechanical)
I started to work in 2005 , working as fieldservice technician up until 2014 were i join mining industrie till today. Right now i'm working in a small quarry plant as millwrigth attending breakdowns, maintening the plant and servicing.
Pros: actually i wanted to gain more expirience on mining industrie especially electrical side

The company has taught me how to be at my most efficient to obtaining goals and targets
I have extensive knowledge of the SHE field and have excellent people skills.I have all the required courses pertaining to the SHE field and am in the latter stages of obtaining my NADSM via UNISA.I am person with strong moral values and a high sense of integrity.If awared the opportunity, I can most certainly gaurantee that I will be a highly valuable asset to the Organisation.

Gained alot of knowledge
The work is great but can get hectic, the people are friendly. I learned a lot about cement and engineering. during kiln stops it is very cahllenging as everyone including contactors are all busy.
