Good experience

Aegis gives you very good experience and teaches you alot of thing s but they don't pay well. You work long hours for very little money. A typical day is quite hectic but I work in a special department so my days are always calm. I have very good relationships with my co workers

. I currently operate as a customer service agent for a campaign called TUI Holidays. I assist with UK based customer with their holidays. I ensure that further information is presented to the customer regarding their destinations; I assist as well in arranging personal requests for their Flights, Hotel or Cruises. I previously operated as a Tsogo Sun Central Reservationist. I assisted customers with their rewards programs and arranging customers to check into Tsogo Sun based hotels. I have sales experiences which I acquired from Oneplan Health Insurance; this is where I sold short-term Health insurances which included pet insurance as well. I have a pastel and booking certificate, which enables me to perform accounting practices and reconciling accounts. I am looking forward in joining the team and learning more about the environment.

im 28 years old certified in CCNA Security and MCSE Server infrastructure , i am currently employed by aegis ( outsourced for Telkom) as a technical support consultant , i am also preparing my self on getting more certifications on the IT FIELD , i also have the following skills Administering Managing and configuring Active Directory, DNS DHCP, Hyper-V and Group Policies Good leadership skills Ability to analyze, problem solving and research Computer literacy: MS Package competent Strong work ethic and ability to function well in a team Excellent time management Good interpersonal skills Work well under pressure and meet deadlines Self-Motivation, drive and energy

I have a good relationship with my colleagues, we converse easily I learnt to be independent at a workplace, to take responsibility of whatever I do I enjoy assisting clients/customer, regardless of their query The most challenging is to be under pressure as my colleagues are performing as I do, so i must make sure that I am either first place or second place

I’ve learnt to deal with different people and situations and how to handle it.

I can handle any situation and work under pressure and can also be a team player. I’ve worked for 3 years in customer service and it helped me to build confidence and taught me to the importance of customers loyalty and understand their needs. I can work on my own and also work well as team. I enjoy delivering the best service, make sure I understand the customers need and the customer is satisfied. It can be very challenging to deal with the irate customer and provided with the incorrect information.

Pros: It is the greatest opportunity to grow for every one in a business and show great management skills.
Cons: I want 8 hours job per day and straight shift.

Best Learning curve

The environment is very professional but the people are friendly and helpful the team spirit is very evident,I enjoyed most the team sessions where got to learn more about each other and there.we're always competitions where best performing people got nice rewards,the most challenging aspects was when a customer wanted certain things to be done for them and company policy did not agree with that so making them understand was a bit tricky.

Great motivational skills

-It's great dealing with international customers. -My relationship with my colleagues is the best, they all have different personalities but most of them are a bunch of beautiful souls. -I've learnt great customer service skills within the company especially from my colleagues. -The most challenging aspects of my job is wanting to fully assist the customer but because there are rules and regulations we need to abide to, which is sometimes an obstacle that prevents us from assisting the customer to one's fullest ability.

Excellent learning curve

I have learnt all of my skill within call centres, customer service, client management and sales at Aegis. I am currently heading 70 employees, 6 Team managers and support staff such as QA and training in the department. Mentoring and leadership of the team managers and providing them with strategic solutions should any issues arise in terms of performance against client metrics such as SLA. I am a passionate and hardworking team player who believes that people will follow you if your leadership style walks the talk. I have an amazing relationship with all my people including the consultants. I enjoy working with people and interacting with them on a daily basis is my passion.

Excellent work environment

Within the company i have learned jow to deal with different peoples personality and at all times to always put myself in their shoes within any queries they come across. There is growth in the company whenever you believe in yourself and do the best in your job. I also work very well with my team as well as independently.
