Excellent learning curve
I work 8 hrs daily plus overtimes, i get well with fellow workers and maintain good relationships with them. I have learnt a lot from the company, i now know how it is to be a good leader and to solve problems. I enjoy solving problems and working on projects.

Gaining experience
I have learnt about making formulations, mixing and milling rubber, curing of rubber and writing laboratory trial and factory trial reports. I have a good working relationship with my superviser and co workers. I enjoy writing repoelrts and mixing the rubber, as well as testing the rubber to obtain results.

Working under Pressure daily
CcCurrently typical day at my workplace, everything is required urgently and working with skeleton staff because of the current retrenchment we had. Other than that we have supportive workforce and always working together as team to achieve the objectives of the company. In that, everyone is required to be flexible as we no longer focus on one job spec but various in order for everyone to be multi-skilled. Pressure is a day to day thing, it's our new work life style as we try to meet our daily deadlines.

No learning as you do just for production to be in a factory environment
The company was not giving opportunities enough to prospective employees of certain groups. And affected the most by unions leading to strikes unnecessary
Pros: Limited promotion, and you get stucked in one discipline.

BAD LEARNING CURVE

Production times exercise
Looking at the materials from receiving going through manufacturing processes as part of transformation process, up to packaging and despatch. Actively interact with shopfloor labour in search of process improvements and also striving to optimize manufacturing processes.

Aberdare cables is a excellent learning industry
the part that i enjoy working at the current company is we always work under pressure .it builds a great working experience as for such busy companies an individual should be able to manage pressure and respond quick to breakdowns
