I am looking for an internship for 2020.
I am currently doing my last year at Cape Peninsula University. I am looking for an internship for 2020. I am a goal oriented person, a fast learner and I am willing to learn. I don't have much experience but I am looking forward to learn and I know I will fit well in your team and deliver good results
Pros: I want to learn more about marking and management as I am not that expose to that industry I am looking forward to learn

Environmental allows one to grow professionally and opportunity to study further is presented.
Environmental is quite hectic and one gets to interact with internal and external stakeholders. I have learned how to be patient and be a good listener as well. I enjoy working with people and the most challenging aspects of my role is supporting more than two Executives. This has taught me how to prioritize.

Industrial Engineering Technique application
The work environment is welcoming people at the company are cooperative towards work involving them, the relationship with supervisors of stations is outstanding and the recognition by workers is visible. most of the things i learnt are team player, communication with superiors and how to treat the operators with respect. i enjoyed most problem solving and mini projects i conducted t solve money problems. the most challenging aspect is that you work with people and people are always resistance to change and changing things and process is part of the job

Good company
Generous company with benefits for employees. No retrenchment. Good bonus for employees. Realistic working hours. Leveled playing field for females. Lots of opportunities once you in the company. Transnet empowers the youth and helps those in need with many charity drives. The company is big so there are lots of opportunities in many different fields and sectors.

Excellent learning Boilermaker
I have been learning more to my co-workers, they learned how to read drawing and how to align the material to jig. I can say that I have been transform from welder to boilermaker. I enjoyed the Team building outing and the support their gave us to each other... But the worse thing that happen is when they wanted the target but material was not there and we have to make a plan to reach it.

Good learning curve
It is a great pressure for me to work at Transnet with maintanance team. Doing preventative maintainance in all the business inside Transnet sites. Some of breakdowns need team work and will require good communication. I enjoy solving and maintaining breakdowns because it will require thinking and solving strategies. I work well with a group and alone. I have learnt that opinions of others are important and never take your work lightly. I have lean how to connect electrical panels and how to maintain a machine. challenging aspects were when we don't agree to the same thing but eventually we work together.
