I am a Lead Administrator at Telesure Investment Holdings. My job description is working on a sales dialler and calling clients who have requested Insurance Quotations. I have to then take down all the clients details and transfer them to sales consultants who completes the quotation for them. Sometimes, I have to assist a client who is not looking for Insurance but rather has queries about the current policy or any simple term regarding the insurance or services that we offer, I then had to transfer the client to the respective departments

Excellent learning curve

In TIH l worked for 8 hours a day, my relationship with my colleagues was healthy and very mutual, l learnt so many Microsoft skills and other organizational behaviors, l enjoyed most interacting with people from different levels and what l found challenging was some individuals did not have emotional intelligence.

The job has become so relentless, you now have a salary cut with more work load. We do claims captures, claims follow ups, sales and all customer queries. We have targets to reach while doing everyone else's work. Great learning opportunity

Coming into work is always a joy. meeting up with people on the way and greeting them to hear how their weekend was or what they're looking forward to in the new week. Being on time is a must as being one minute late could result in a client lost. I love the working environment. As long as the work is done and the clients are assisted in a timeously and courteous manner, everyone is happy. I have learned various aspects of the business including insurance, customer care, how the projects are run individually and also have been able to interact with many external clients and found out how they tie in with the business.
