Excellent learning curve

GoodgMorning Pooven. Shotblast has been on breakdown since last night. Please assist expedite fixing the shotblast. Only machine is available for production. These machines are now critical for V31s as we busy grinding the draw marks and grinding correction.

New experience and environment

I used to work with customers at fnb on a daily basis and this was a new and interesting experience for me. I never worked night shifts before but i ended up liking them. Long working hours even on weekends was something new to me. Working as a team is a key in my job because ypu cant do it alone.

Company review

Great company to work for. The people are friendly and eager to share their experiences. Nice mixture of old and new generation. The workload varies but if it gets too much, overtime is an optuon or you can get extra help.

Results driven

The combination of strategy through New Business Development, mergers and acquisition, transfer of technology has been a major learning for me in establishing long term business relationship, because competition triumphs through it. Understanding different Countries in the African region, cultures, political landscapes and bilateral agreements within countries play a major role in business. As a key account manager, I have to maintain good customer relationship, know my customer, but yet maintain the internal stakeholders to ensure execution, therefore indirectly becomes a project manager.

Fantastic experience daily

I am responsible for security operations at two of our sites. I also manage security escorts of explosives. We have a very professional outfit and always strive to be more effective and efficient.

Very busy long hours

extremely busy juggling what you have planned for the day and what comes up during the day. I’ve learnt time management skills I’ve learnt how to deal with unexpected problems. It usually requires staying an hour or two after hours but that was okay because the rewards of knowing you closed some tasks was good. I’ve learnt how to create systems to make my tasks easier and to better the procedures.

Cons: Very busy
