Excellent experience

Having worked as customer assistant where dealing with customers and also implementing my selling skills and as manager where you deal with the staff, finance and making sure the marketing is being implemented right also making sure the store runs well with no problems. The company was a great place to network and also created opportunities for you life to grow outside the company not inside. my co-workers were amazing and the relationship we had was great, apart from the days where people were not in the mood. there were no challenges that were stressing because we always do our work early.

Pros: Great for creating a network of people who can help you elevate your career
Cons: Long hours

I work well with customer services

In Retail ive learned a lot of things all at once. One needs to multitask thats the very important thing. I would do Admin in the morning to make sure its up to date... Once im done i go to the shop floor for customer services and to work with people you need to understand peoples types of languages but most importantly be friendly and keep a smile. I would also be at the till to help customers that buy our products and to also check if other stores have what we dont have if a customer is unhappy and wants something that we dont have. I would make sure once RTT deliver our products i look for what i have orderd for the customer and Immediately call them. I woud also Merchandise the store.

Pros: Great opportunity for Multitasking all the work that needs to be done in the store
Cons: long Hours

Working at Musica was my first sales job and I've learned a lot about customer service and how to sales and promote a product. I learned how to work on cash points and even certain managerial skills. My customer service has improved impressively over the past years. I learned and improved my skills in the retail industry.

Pros: Sales experience
Cons: Long working hours and no commission. Low pay.

Maturing process

Retail is dynamic and interesting but when you reach a management level one must be allowed to use what u have learn for the betterment of the business. Effective managers do not take kindly to micro management.

Pros: music industry
Cons: no family time

Excellent customer assistance

I worked very well with the customers. I did all my best to get them what they wanted. I would even order the things they would want that we do not have in store. I learned to talk with other people from other stores via phone. I even learned to do admin in the store with the manager. I surprised the store on my own because I had gained the store managers trust .

Pros: Great opportunity for being supervisor
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent learning curve

To work for the company is a joy for most parts. a typical work day includes myself and the team prepping for the days sales targets and how we are going to achieve them. the relationship between myself and the team is good as we get along great. I have learned so much from my time in the company and i know it will benefit me going forward. I enjoy it most when projects are done like Stock takes or mock shops. The most challenging aspect of my job will be to trying to do what is required but get little no recources from company to do so

Pros: Great opportunity to deal with people
Cons: Long Working hours
