I finished my 2 year Diploma in Payroll, HR and Finance with Payroll Education (SETA aproved)
I am currently employed by Media24 in the Payroll Department as a payroll administrator where I have gain knowledge and understanding the protocol and procedures of Payroll. I am highly self motivated, reliable, honest and responsible person. I can work well under pressure within a team or by myself and have the ability to prioritize the work to meet the deadlines. I love helping and assist my colleagues wherever I can. I am not afraid to ask question and love to learn and a challenge .
Pros: I see myself in a more senior position - team leader
Cons: I do not want to work weekends - family time

I love admin duties and put my all in what is expected of me.
I love what i do. i suppose to start at 8 but here by 6 am or 7 am, i have learnt a lot because i am not restricted to only do my task. I enjoy helping where i can so that i learn more. my relationship with co workers is amazing as we all get along well. My only reason for looking elsewhere is i travel quite a distance to get to work. The most challenging aspect is i do production and it has to be to the tee.
Pros: Learn alot
Cons: No opportunity for promotion.

I have been employed for 3 years at Media24 as a contact center agent and work with a great team
Providing efficient,effective and professional customer services Dealing daily with customer complaints and escalations i enjoy being around and working with them To listen to customers and be rewarded by a customer taking the time to say thank when you've provide a great service Making sure that delivery takes place within given times, eventhough being dependent on 3 rd parties or internal customers
Pros: The company is quite big and exposure to other divisions
Cons: in the division where i am currently in, isnt any further growth

In the fast-growing economic environment Cherise sees herself as a responsible, dynamic, hardworking individual who can work in a team and individually. She will strive to uplift and maintain the image of the company at all times, and motivate her co-workers to do their best in performing their duties and obtain maximum results and profit. Excellent learning curve and improvement
Receive a bank statement from the Supervisor Allocate payments accordingly Follow up on promised payments Calling clients for all the outstanding and overdues payment Attending to queries Sending Invoices / Statements Preparing for Journals Follow up on queries and doing recons Doing cashflow and reports Sending LOD 1/2 Preparing a handover files Assisting on behalf of your coworker Making sure we have open door policy amongst ourselves Sharing the same values with your coworkers Seeing that job satisfaction from your clients Having a good working relationship with you clients Sometimes the clients will let you down and you have to explain to your superiors

Wondeful working environment
Media24 is a wonderful work environment in which everyone is treated with respect and there is open communication with all Managers. Every employee is a team member and colleagues are always available to assist whenever there is need to. i learnt that you can only grow but taking those responsibilities which are challenging.

I am a quick learner and like to take on a new challenge
I manage a team of 19 people, do daily , weekly and monthly stats. I have and arrange team meetings. I also assist with interviews for new staff . I am a quick learner and like to take on a new challenge

Good people, declining industry
While the direct line managers are extremely understanding there is little understanding of the amount of work done on a daily basis by corporate and this resulted in some positions being overloaded with work while others’ workloads’ did not increase. In addition, the declining print media industry means that retrenchments happen frequently so the staff is forced to constantly take on more work to compensate for positions that have been made redundant.
Pros: Excellent managers
Cons: Constant downsizing
