Fidelity is a day by day growing company with good benefits and i used to enjoy working here

Working here has been the most positive effect on my life the co workers are straight and very tight at following procedures and have gained an experience wotking with guest learning different of people background and where they going what they want to achieve and has thought me to.be a very humble person and a helping person undergoing a lot of pressure we work as team . The most challeges its when u have to deal with dificult customers on daily bases and worst of it all u have to bow even if a customers is being negative towards to you and learn to be humble handle those issues. And be a problem solver direct them to a right path. Make sure of your statement when there are days of incidents where you habe to be cross questioned .be alert be friendly to everyone smile at all time and always greeting.

Cons: 12/13 hours of working or double shift

Poor overall work environment - Threat Culture

Hard workers are the operations managers Executives do not care and over-promise to clients Managers are overworked, over hours, with poor pay Zero time off Understaffed HR Antiquated systems Too much admin, poor ratio admin/operations Threatening and penalizing culture - not rewarded for good work Extra hours required with no compensation Job description changes with no additional salary adjustment Any queries are seen as a threat and the person is victimized This is for Cape Town - cannot comment on other regions

Cons: Exceptionally long hours, own car required to be used

Sales and Marketing

I had great experience working at Fidelity but want to try something more challenging. Im focused and very accurate with my work. I love challenges and set myself goals to achieve. I'm a very challenging person and very ambitious.

Pros: I have a great working relationship with my coworkers and have excellent relationship with top management.
Cons: Don't have problem with working long hours, I'm focused on completing my task accurate and in time

Excellent learning curb...too much rasm at the Midrand branch

I love my job, I love working with my staff getting to meet new people everyday, interacting with customers and clients from various cultures and I love it...im always smiling even if I am having the most difficult day. I have learnt to be more tolerant towards others in the sense that every person is different in his /her own way. Every individual as their own way of dealing with issues. I enjoy interacting with people.I think trust , respect and Excellent communication are the key to driving a good team. I try my best to make sure i understand my staff and i give them the respect they deserve in order for me to get 200% out of them in return.

Cons: working extremely long hours..day and night site visits even on your days off

Gaining more Experiance

I perform CCTV System Check and track the Access transactions at the site Update Occurrence Book and make sure the shifts are covered. I have good Radio skills and telephone etiquette and I am a Good team player I enjoy challenging tasks and doing investigations.

Learning experience

 The ability to multi-task  Having the “gift of the gab”  Having a good telephone voice  The ability to deal with repetitive tasks  Being flexible  Being fast – but accurate keyboard/typing skills  Having a basic level of computer skills

Learning more to work with defferebt poaple

M working a 11hours shift starting from 3:30am its tge nost bigest challage bt i manage welethu*Nohesi* and what i learn is to work with a deffwrent poaple and with stabon clients byt i manangerd to deal with tgem be nice and frendly

Working at Fidelity Security Services

Fidelity has taught me administrative skills regarding salaries of guards, placement of guards, guard queries and negative discipline measures in the private sector. I had 374 guards under my command with 32 sites. I enjoyed the fast pace of daily duties and the surprises each day had to offer. I thrive under pressure and enjoyed the challenges it brought with it. I have fast experience in interviewing and interrogations and used it frequently in day to day discussions. I enjoy working with people of all walks of life, some with teach you something and some will be open to your expertise.

Pros: Great opportunity to develop new skills in management, people and situations.
Cons: I stayed very far from my sites and offices, travelling.
