I am a recent graduate in the field of auditing and accounting with a fine eye for detail and a passion for numbers – during my time at university I was awarded for my drive and am now looking for an internship to enter the world of work. With me is two qualification, BCOMPT IN INTERNAL AUDITING, NATIONAL HIGHER CERTIFICATE IN ACCOUNTANCY

I, Lesiba what I have learned in business is to meet sales target motivate staff to show the ability to make customers feel valuable in order for them to stay with our business show them we appreciate their time that they took to spend in our store and make sure we give them what they want to get from us, as we customers need the best from consultant to provide us with what we need , to treat customers as much as we want us to be treated by sales consultant,as management we need to make sure that staff are happy in order for them to drive sales as I know happy staff makes good customer service. Helping a staff by sharing a view of the business help them to leave their problems outside the store by sharing their issues that make them unhappy and encourage them as we are one.

Great place to work

Great opportunity to grow and very nice place to work, company does give commission monthly if you make the store target. Incentives are also great in the period of the festive season nd twice a year

Excellent learning curve

The description of my job at Edcon Edgars Marketing is as follows: Assist in developing marketing plans and campaigns, Execution of all tasks allocated by Marketing Manager, Monitor and report of media exposure received through various initiatives, Research competitors their trends and products as and when required, Sourcing, briefing of, as well as negotiating with various marketing merchant, Complete brief to agency, Create event & promo number, Request merchants to fill in block plans for their relevant areas on the S-drive, Complete store communication document, Tracking cost and spend drive, Traffic marketing team, Agency briefing and De-briefing process, Point of sale distribution, Campaign Execution and dealing with Invoices.

Pros: getting more experience
Cons: no stability

Exelent learning curve

I implement promotions, im in charge of customer service i present sales to staff every morning i am in charge of about 3500 square mitres with employees if about 50 and above.. i train them on daily duties and manage their performance

Good review n custmers sales skills indeed

I worked for 3shops in edcon so for it a opportunit for me to be a great store man or a businessman becouse as i was a cusaul i was givan a chance to run a store and i was act as visual manger for edgars at jabulani mall in soweto than i was apointed as PPT still visual manager for boardmans in bedfordview i wad the one setting up the promotions running the store but for me i felt like it was my time to run the store like a manger i was dicised making plans to rich the daily tergets monthly etc now im a beauty consalted in red square dealing with make up skin care products perfurms chasing after my dreams ,

Pros: working harder for more money
Cons: easy hours to relix your mind and body

I currently work as HR Administrator intern the following are my duties: Human Resource Administration, Capturing Maternity leave, assisting with Payroll, Employee Terminations, Recruitment, Generating UIF documents, Resolving employee Related queries, uploading Documents on E- Terms, Filling, Making copies, Resolving Department of labor queries, Generating Confirmation letters, Casual Transfers, Generating certificate of Service, Responding to emails and Issuing out Provident fund forms and distributing tasks From the main inbox

Pros: I learnt a lot in such a big industry

Excellent customer service experience

the day starts off with a typically movition meeting. things the company is doing right and whats not and how we can approve on. We then prep our work stations. do abit of house keeping. then customer service every second. selling and making sales to get to a set out target. we help around where we can with till operting and when the truck delivers we help set out deliveries. what i most enjoy is my co workers, they always friendly at all times. that makes my dat go faster.

Pros: always over time to work
Cons: never get seen as to get promoted

Exciting, rush. Constantly changing. Face new challenges every day. Forced to think outside the conventional. Chasing deadlines. Part of great team. Ideas based, creative, constantly evolving and learning. Enjoy working with my team. They respect ideas and encourage creativity when problem solving.

Company supports upliftment within the company by offering courses.

Since I started working for EDCON they sent me on a lot of management courses such as business management,Leadership management, Employee Relations, etc. There is a lot more to tell should I be invited for an interview.

Pros: There is always new opportunities within the EDCON structure
Cons: They dropping 5 promotions on the day before it breaks.
