Great exposure for dealing with Fixed Assets
Great exposure for dealing with Fixed Assets both at Group and Core level from a financial statements perspective. The scope is huge dealing with infrastructure assets, boilogical Assets and library books.
Pros: Huge scope, specialised accounting treatment, meaningful contribution

1. 4 yrs Nursing Diploma 3 yrs B cur Degree Speciality in 1: Nursing Education.2: Nursing Administration. 3: Primary Health Care Duties to ensure that all quality assurance standards are met and programmes implemented per policy and sustained in 14 facilities. Training and staff development demanding time in office and Quality demand time spent in facilities. Working with facility operational managers and people who are steering implementation of programmes in the facilities and demotivated staff make it hard to sustain programmes, pulling down sysndrom from old staff influencing new professionals. Seeing a very sick client improve due to quality of care rendered is most admirable thing that has ever happened and good relationship with patients promoting good health stds of clients

Cons: Most of time it is hard to finish work during office hours due to lack of resources and poor communication , area without good network connection no emails to communicate with 14 facilities have to use paper which takes lot of time, energy and costly

Currently enjoying to workin a Multi-disciplinary Team of Professionals
The work varies from day to day, as it involves managing activities that affect the built environment. The work entails me having vertical, horizontal and lateral relationships with co-workers. I have learnt that inputs from other professions are profound. the challenging aspect of my job is to make people buy into the bigger picture

Typical work content
Hostile and challenging labour environment with staff compliment of 33000 employees and highly unionized. Currently responsible for the reintegration of employees of various Municipal Owned Entities back into the City. Previous involved in merger of different Municipal Owned Entities and the leader of the employer delegation at different bargaining structures. The position require a strategist, critical thinker and an innovative and flexible individual.

Sound Techinical Knowlage and good in administration.
As the building Inspector I interact with contractors and guide them with technical work. This knowledge is shared with fellow building inspectors on routine meetings on site experience and National Building Regulations and also ensure administration is in order all the time. The building inspector job has added on my knowledge in terms of supervising contractors and ensure compliance with the regulations and the act.

Do routing admin work, check the Auto safes, stock control, reconciliations,am in good relationship with colleagues and senior management, SAP system, working with different cultures, working in government sector,monthly reports

Good start and exposure to field work
Rendering professional activities that support Library and information services and outreach programmes to the community unable to access fixed library facilities and communities with special needs including old age homes and prisons. Participate in the planning and implementation of Multi library literacy, reading development and user education programmes to schools and libraries citywide. Responsible for Early Childhood Development programme that provide books for crèches within the city of Johannesburg on a monthly basis. Conducting evaluation and observation for ECD. Registering and renewing membership for ECD. Supervising junior staff and handling queries. Responsible for assets, managing cash and banking Providing monthly statistics for programmes. Issuing and returning of books for libraries and schools.
