To work at Cambridge food made me see how important it is to have customer care . and i learned to be very strong because your facing different people. communication its very important .

Good learning curve

Iiim hard work young women. I have a skill customers service.. I work as team and working alone . My relationship with co-workers is very good and . I've learn more how to treat customers and co-workers and respect each other. Never shout costumer and customers always rigt. I've learn how to count money and using tills. I've enjoyed working with customers and always friendly with every customers. What is challenging most when you have no enough change in your till and you have a lot of customers and they are waiting for you and you are busy asking for change in your supervisor.

Adaptable to environment

To work at cambrigde food they are main things i lean such as how to machadise. Also how to keep your working place clean as well , as how to communicate with colligues/workers. I aslo lean to work in time being fast on what im doing by that time. and im being ealy at work also adaptable at any environment or department at work.

It's nice to work at my current job

Company has been There is nothing wrong with the company, its just that the Company it has been sold to Shoprite Checkers There is nothing wrong with the company, its just that the Company it has been sold to Shoprite Checkers and i had a bad experience with Shoprite i used to work for it, the treatment there it was very bad that was the reason why i left them. I've learnt a lot of things in Cambridge because i joined the as the Liquor store Manager and got promoted to be Assistant manager till to date i had a bad experience with Shoprite i used to work for it, the treatment there it was very bad that was the reason why i left them. I've learnt a lot of things in Cambridge because i joined the as the Liquor store Manager and got promoted to be Assistant manager till to date to Shoprite

Pros: I was offered a position in Eastern Cape for Store Manager

Good learning

Working under pressure and hard working.working long hours and with no benefits from them.But good taking care of customers and workers always wrong and working under pressure due to the hours and less earning money

Ambitious and excellent

Working hard but earning less

Talking of a very busy shop and I feel management are only thinking for themselves being pushed to meet target while there s a shortage of staff and the long hours without over time 45hours per week it's too much we working well with our fellow workers but we get tired from time to time I've learned to push until you reach the target some of the challenges been having hard working working under a full pressure it's quiet hard the part where you be insulted by customers and staff your feelings

Pros: there are no such opportunities in fact you work and master the job and if there's a post they want to hire people from outside massmart to be thought by us how to do the job even on post they not publishing them you just have to work work work work and work without promotion
Cons: the hours are so long 45 hours per week

Excellent learning curve

It’s a relatively good company to work for with good salaries but the down fall is the lack of support from regional teams and from the head office. They are not lending enough support to managers and staff in the stores and this is making it hard to manage your store 100% right.

Pros: Opportunity for promotions does exist
Cons: Non supportive and disloyal regional teams
