Great Experience

The working environment is very good, I engage well with my fellow colleagues. The culture of my current company is very friendly, I enjoy engaging with my colleagues. I have learned quite a lot during my period and more especially on how to deal with very complex issues. The learning experience has been very good.

Great work ethics, driven, consistent and delivers excellence

I’m a proactive person. I’m always willing to lend a hand to get things done. Over the years I’ve learnt how to approach difficult tasks, handle setbacks, dealing with different personalities, peers that feel you coming to take their shine. I’m big on planning so I love setting goals and setting up ways to reach them. The most challenging aspects of my job is that it comes with a lot of challenges and problems that need to be solved especially billing issues and credits that need to be passed. There are issues that need urgency over anything else that you busy with and you have to learn to juggle situations but also not lose sight of all your tasks because they all need to be completed. Month end can be very challenging but such is life. My role is to services not only 8 of my Key Account Managers in my team but also provide Administrative assistance to my Regional Sales Manager and Executive Head of Sales whom I report to.

Pros: I loved that as much as the job spec is the same, there are days full of surprises and unchartered territory and new problems to be solved. I loved the control the job gave me, processes lied with me, processes are everything
Cons: I disliked the office politics although there are ways around it which basically sometimes involves sucking up to people to persuade them to actually do their jobs.

Excellent experience gained

Vox Telecom is a great company to work and the culture of the organization is amazing. From the executives to entry level staff there are amazing people who you can learn a lot from. I've learned alpr and grown so much in my work and personal life while working at work. I've currently equipped myself with a whole broad scope of recruitment which I love a lot but personally prefer doing a broad scope of HR functions. I love working with people and I have very good interpersonal skills which are my strength and also allow me to work well with people of different personalities. I believe I would be a suitable candidate for this position because I met the requirement experience and education wise and I will be doing a broad scope of HR duties like I've previously done at my former employer at Weir Minerals Africa. One other perk for me with this job is that it is based in Midrand and that is where I am currently residing.

Vast oppertunities for learning and exposure to all connectivity media and solutions

Support usres,clients and support staff with issues and problems. train staff and clients on the products and solutions implemented. Manual creation and document creation. Project management. Technical advisor. sales support and advisor. network and firewall advisor with regards to configs and routing. network specialist. solutions architect.

Pros: Excelent exposure to technology and solutions design
Cons: limitid growth opertunities

Gate way to new challenges

It requires you to be able to multi-task, gives you an opportunity to learn and know new things, especially in the IT industry, we work with a lot of products and we get a chance to interact with different people, it's very challenging and requires a lot of knowledge in the IT industry, opportunities to grow is at a minimum, but give you a chance to grow on your own

It is a high stress environment but with excellent learning and growth opportunities.

Excellent learning skills.

Excellent service and people skills, assisting with issues internally, liaising with different departments to get information and the job done, work very well with colleagues, I have learnt how to use the system, any issues I will report to the relevant person, with new products launched I will assist and not issues or teething processes. I enjoy working with the people and learning new things, challenging is working with people who do not want to learn or assist and taking accountability.

Pros: Great platform to learn products sold and how it works, how to sell it etc
Cons: Working hours, no accountability and responsibility, no assistance in escalations

Overwork and underpaid

Job security is not very good as this company.stress levels is extremely high.my co workers is fun to work with.team work is excellent.company staff turn around in the debtors department is extremely scary..people is being hired and fired at random

Excellent learning curve

My typical day at work is pushing for link delivery and trying to make the project managers work easier by providing the most accurate information to the project manager. The relationship I have with my co-workers is a family like working relationships which I have learned to appreciate and understand everyone's character in my team. I have learned that the working environment can be tricky and that I shouldnt fall in the trap of being caught in unnecessary office politics. The most challenging aspect is having to resolve a client escalation within a day or two where in other instances it may be impossible.
