8-9 job and with faxable hours. I enjoyed working with no supervision and gained experience and skills. I have receive well training and work well with my colleagues.
Pros: No room for promotion because depatment leaders dont want to relise their staff for other departments
Cons: Work long hours during month end to finalise deadlines

Excellent training school in Logistics
My workday starts at 5h30 am.talking to my transport night shift supervisor as to how the night was and if their was any delays and who is still on the road and also how many trucks was loaded for the night. Warehouse or staff concerns next , country and coastal drivers I give petty cash to go on the road , I debrief them for their trip .I issue stationery for the day shift and walk the warehouse floor to speak to the night shift warehouse manager enquiring about the night as well as the day ahead. Then my daily tripsheets is collected and I start doing wages ,plus the night shift issues must be sorted asap.
Pros: Very unpredictable .
Cons: Very energetic.

Managing staff, operations, Distributions, KPI & Cost Saving
I don't prefer sitting in the office as I like to be on the ball at all the time. I am supervising 30 staff and distributing volumes to 300 stores. I am controlling KPI and I have a good relationship with the client and my subordinates. I enjoy most working with the clients and my staff. my biggest challenging is the cost saving which I do every day to save for the company.

Great working experience. So much more to learn in this industry. Personal growth obtained as well.
I am part of operations so the day starts from the time you get to work which is on time. Driver's being dispatched and briefed, then coming to me for their sleep out money. Submitting previous loads done trip documents, not many a times getting to manually debrief the documents with the drivers face to face as per procedure, then they have to go to load. Meaning if any discrepancies found or relevant documents not submitted by them, I have to phone drivers and find out accordingly. Good foundation build with co-workers. Yes you do get upset and sometimes argue with one or the other, but afterwards when you can take a breather it's forgotten and we joke about it. Personal growth in a sense that I was a very shy person, now I'm more confident and open, still firm when need be :) Challenging part I would say is the wages, have to be quick with sorting and in good manner when a weekly paid worker especially the code 14 drivers comes to you regarding queries with there wages.

Cons: Long working hours indeed and in peak season it can even mean no lunch

Fast learner
it is good to work with lot of people in organisation i do my work effectively and i have a good relationship with my colleagues i learn that in the work place i must work hard and not to wait for someone to give me work to do .i also learn that when you handle conflict when the is an agument there must be one who will calm down to avoid conflict

The challenging part about receiving is when you receive the stock short or damage as it needs you to give all relevant information to the relevant people so that they don't blame you in the end. The most wonderful part for a person to enjoy the work inveroment is to build a good relationship
