- Great company overall - Love the culture - Love the opportunities to learn and grow as a leader - Co-Workers are amazing - I have learnt alot about myself and my abilities. - Have learned to run my brand like my own business - I enjoy working on brands with purpose - The most challenging aspect of my job is the long hours with minimal remuneration. I don't believe i get payed what i should be.

Good learning opportunities
III try my best as I can to keep a positive attitude towards my job and my co-workers. I choose to come to the office daily with a smile no matter how challenging sometimes it is. I try very hard to keep positive energy that helps others keep their enthusiasm. I regularly congratulate and encourage others to motivate them. My teamwork skills were not so good, so I opted to attend a two-day collaboration 101 training that gave me a better understanding of teamwork ideas and how to be a more efficient team player in whatever role that comes my way. This past year my team worked on the main areas that were very critical to the company. The key social responsibility committee and the customer service process. Our team emerged the best in successfully completing the challenging task and doing so promptly. I clearly communicate with clients to ensure the best customer service is provided. I know I have had problems with some demanding clients in the past, but it has only made me more confident in handling

Learned a lot about FMCG
Its a very fast paced environment with a very young work force ( shop floor staff ) . I'm constantly reminding them of professionalism work ethic etc , I start my day as early as 6am
Pros: Working with Project engineers in changing the look and feel of our Factory

Learnt a lot
It's a nice company to work for, as it globally recognized and has a lot of resources to make your work easy. It helps you grow as an individual and helps you to be more employable. I can a nice relationship with my Co workers we get along very well and I have made a lot of friends.

Excellent learning and growth opportunities
Company has great learning opportunities and growth prospects . A very pressurised environment that teaches one to cope under such pressures. Work life balance is a serious challenge. The IR environment is is rather challenging and it strengthens ones Ability to deal with issues.

Willing to Learn and listening is a skill

Very good for learning
I worked at production and trained on engineering side. I found Unilever very interesting to learn different things and production work motivated me to study more to be on another level.

Engineering Stores Controller
My day is mostly controlled by the demand and assistant requested by others as I'm currently among the best users of SAP and my experience in Supplier management and keeping the relationship going. My relationship with colleagues is good they like asking for advise and how to solve queries. Solving issues supplier have with regards to payments Calming suppliers when they need answers on their payments is the challenge.

Great learning curve and exposure to the company's different facets
Being a part of a FMCG plant requires you to be on your feet from 7am to 5pm , and later should there be issues around the production plants. Its a great learning ground, with an intense learning curve. From operations to maintenance and project management, there is a good amount of knowledge to be learnt. I enjoy the dynamic nature and freedom and creativity to solve problems.
Pros: Great experience and an intense learning curve. Knowledge is gain regarding all facets of the business.
Cons: Long working hours. No room for growth due to current restructuring and retrenchments

Great introduction to a working environment.
It has been quite some experience, a beautiful one I must say. From day 1 a lot has been learned. Basically Unilever has taught me every thing about the work environment. What it means to be an employee, what it means to chase work targets, what it means to be part of a team, what it is like to take responsibility of your work station and to own it. I have been introduced to workplace language, from production terminology to body language. I have been taught about the importance of safety and quality delivery at workplace. Basically this company has taught every thing about being part of the employed class.
