Excellent learning and teaching in chemistry

Working in the Laboratory assisting students with day to day practicals is exciting as you get a privilege of teaching them and learning from them in return. The team I was working with taught me a lot about being a team player and they made the day to day working easy. The great challenge was sometimes there's a lack of communication between the lectures and us the assistants so we ended up having to prepare solutions under a lot of pressure in short period of time.

Pros: Knowledge is expanded everyday
Cons: No exact time of knocking off

Excellent learning curve

I've learned a lot about teaching students and preparing a lesson plan and managing a class. Every day at the place I learn new things. Co-workers are more cooperative when things are done in order. I enjoy teaching the students and helping them with their projects. The most challenging thing is pushing students to attend mentor classes.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours
