In the morning go through emails and respond urgently emails. attend Local Business Meetings with Unions whereby we discuss the business issues. attend Management Meeting also we discuss the business issues. Handle grievances and queries from the employees. I have a good relationship with co-workers
Pros: m working nice with my colleagues as well my fellow employees
Cons: only 8 hours unless i have a lot of work to do then extra hours or work on weekends

Great experience
To work at Transnet its a great experience because I learn to communicate with a lot of people during my shift eg :manager, supervisors, machine drivers and department of planning by communicate with all them my job runs smooth and I meet target very easily, challenges that I face is to have breakdown with the machines that I'm running with because i can't meet my target

Since the start of my career i have learnt a lot.
Since the start of my career i have learnt a lot and with this knowledge thus, am eager to learn more thing and grow. My highlight shows through my eagerness to learn each and every day. i am always ready to learn. Having to wake up looking forward to go do what i love the most which is my work, is my daily highlight.

To be the part of the big company like transnet its great becuase I have expirense to work with people from defferent of culctures and religious. Its nice to share ideas with people who have been in company for long as we come with new ideas from the training center. We were forming a good and the winning team at all time. We plan for every task we do as we work we turn to know the individuals strengths and weakness we will try to balance the equation so that all of us we be in the same wave lenght.

Exellence learning curve
I am a qualified electromechanician. I am currently working at Transnet as a senior technical worker. The basis of my role is to ensure process reliability through zero machine failures, through attendance of planned maintenance schedules, effective fault finding and other maintenance workshop practices, and willingness to participate in any maintenance projects. Propose new design improvement, monitoring the projects Conduct all testing brakes force , vacuum test ,slew test on the wagon Conduct all analysis in the design system Ensure the wagon prototype is build according to the customer requirement Inspect wagon and conduct internal testing Ensure system[ brakes, couplers , bogies] on the prototype wagon has been assembly according to specification Mark up drawings and verify all drawings Conduct analysis calculation for wagons Research and development of open wagon concepts. Interpret user requirements and specification in order to generate detailed item development Maintain networks and relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and planning authorities, in order to effectively deliver technical advice and meet deadlines on engineering projects. Participate in the development of design standards and recommend modifications as appropriate.

Ten years experience in logistics management ; inventory and production and material planning.
I start my workday 30minutes before shift start. When employees start shift, I allocate the employees work as expected by executive for the day. I will communicate with customers for expectation. The relationship with workers was good. I have learnt communication, leadership, reporting skills. Safety is our priority.
