Looking for work I'm willing to travel I am a qualified Mechanical Fitter from 3years apprenticeship with Chevron Oil&Has Refinery,Northlink College (Wingfield Campus) and CHIETA.Im a Gearbox specialist and I work with hydraulics & Pneumatics as well.I am willing to travel but it has to be a permanent position.

I am logistics engineer at Transnet Port Terminal I duties involves container yard planning Yard stackability optimisation Process flow mapping System design and equipment planning Project manage change over plan Lead continuous improvement project Support maintenance in scheduling equipment metainance Capacity planning. Manage contractual work include container yard dermacations Use Materials SAP module to plan container on dock locations Design truck flow system with terminals simulation of improved processes. I enjoy challenges in my day to day work including solving operational problems Analyzing processes and identifying areas of improvements Working with teams is my passion, I have learnt a lot about container yard processes and system used in terminals I enjoy working with dynamic teams and solving problems. Continuous change in my job provide necessary challenges i want to work on always in my career

I am now a complete lawyer having the whole overview of the business

it is a great experience you end up interacting at the highest level f the business. Mostly you advise the business on business risks .They offer also continues training. I have learnt part of the operation as an advisor and feel that I am offer proactive legal advises. advises senior management e, g CEO and general managers

Enjoyable at most

I have learnt a lot during my time at this company. It has allowed me to gain insight into how the shipping industry works, when it come to both Export and Import. For the most part i have a good relationship with co-workers. What i enjoy most that the department which i am working in is very complex and it allows you to gain insight into all the different aspects of the company.

Checking the cars, their condition, they must be in good condition, make sure our clients get them fresh no dents, record then on our data base work under pressure as a team also communication is the best in the organization

Good learning curve

Nice learning curve. It is a food company to work for but only for the permanent employees. The learnerships and YTP will do all the work that no one wants to do and they might not even get a job at the end of their contract.

Worked as a maintanance electrician and worked as operation shift electrician attend to breakdowns.

My day on shift start getting al infotmation of the previouse shift .Attend to breakdown on shift.i am a good team player,it is important to work together on shift as a team to prevent delays.Every breakdown on shift is not the same, able to adapt ,caim under pressure .Enjoy a challenge shift find root cause solve aproblem.

Pros: I am driven start general worker complete electrical trade, project management course,SAP TERP10,computer literate

A great learning opportunity.

A typical work day involves checking the service desk, attending to calls, ensuring that you work towards meeting the SLA every day. Relationships are easier to form with co-workers because it is a smaller division therefore you attend every call personally. I have learnt a lot on people skills, communication and ensuring the best service from ICT. My role also tests my troubleshooting and problem solving skills daily. I enjoy spending time figuring out issues and analysing the root cause. Challenges come in the form of time consumption due to slow workstations and limited resources.

Pros: Smaller than other divisions, therefore giving you enough chance to interact with users.
Cons: No employee benefits on contract.
