Tourvest Reviews

Excellent learning curve and experience

I love working with different People as we often deal with tour companies . I have a good relationship with all my Co-workers as i can communicate well with anybody as i am friendly. i have learnt that if you work hard you' ll prosper in life . I enjoy seeing all the foreigners and beautiful people arriving everyday & the fact that they choose our Country to visit. The biggest challenge is to work under pressure and being 100% sure everything is in order for the guest arriving also making sure i have charged guest correctly .

Pros: I work well under Pressure and will do anything even when its not required in my job description
Cons: I will work overtime if needed

Excellent experience

To work for my company is very exciting I get to meet different people from all over the world as I deal with different tour companies who make reservations for there guest to have lunch with us I ensure that I confirm the specific reservation and that correct meal has been selected I have to make out a booking quote ( invoice). My co workers are nice people but can become harsh when under pressure my job is very challenging because I have to ensure that correct menu is selected for the kitchen to prepare accordingly I need to make sure I charge guest correctly . Most of all I love what I do

Pros: I meet different people everyday
Cons: I hardly spend time with family because I work to much

Excellent learning curve

Although working with people can be fun, and the venues are absolutely breathtaking at tourvest's restaurants, the hours are very taxing for managers. I have however met and learnt from the most amazing people in the past years, my co-workers. Some very fond moments arise when the pressure is off after a very busy shift, with the jokes that were shared amongst us.

Pros: excellent place for promotion
Cons: none

Great learning curve

Fairly good company to work for. Nice working environment. Support structure could be reinforced. Management styles vary. Maturity needed esp in the younger managers. Overall, good company to work for.

Pros: Growth
Cons: Long working hours

The company is growing in the inbound space

- The most challenging aspects of the job the smal teams that are equipped but due to the volume of work coming in are not able to produce high quality work.

Pros: Working with different clients
Cons: Long working hours

Great ooptunity

I have worked for Call Centers in different capacities since the beginning of my career. In my last position I was a customer care agent dealing with Internationalcustomers and assisting in sales and from this role I gained excellent customer service and have excellent vision of what it takes to offer good quality customer service. I believe that I will make an excellent fit for this role as I work well under pressure.

Pros: Excellent learning curve
Cons: Convenient working hours

Current role is diversified.

My job includes prospecting for new business as well as service existing database. I am involved in a range of Marketing activities for our Sales team & indeed the local properties, e.g putting action plans together, designing promotions & social media reporting. I enjoy the freedom to do my job and not being micro managed The company recently went through section 189 which was quite stressful but I'm pleased to say my job was saved. The biggest challenge is our different hotel operations teams ensuring guests/clients are happy long after the sale or booking is done and I think this speaks to staff & management being properly trained, so they can do their jobs well.

Pros: Part of large tourism company so large growth opportunities.
Cons: aha has received some negative press recently.
