Excelent Learning curve

I have worked for Call Centers in different capacities since the beginning of my career. In my last position I was a customer care agent dealing with International customers and assisting in sales and from this role I gained excellent customer service and have excellent vision of what it takes to offer good quality customer service. I believe that I will make an excellent fit for this role as I work well under pressure.

Pros: Opportunity learning about retail
Cons: Working Shifts

Excelent Learning curve

It was a good working environment. I was working shifts and my day normally started at 10, 11 or 12 depending on my weekly shift. We we doing support for British Airways High Life Shop, dealing with onboard queries, sales and complains. We had a good relationship as we were working as a team of 4, 2 males and 2 females. It was my first time in retail & inbound and i have learned a lot in a short period of time. After every 2 months we had road shows where we were communicating with our colleagues in the UK branch via Skype and it was good because we were dealing with clients that we know nothing about their culture. The most challenging aspects of our job was dealing with the most difficult clients who are usually threatening to sue the company.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Working Shifts

Very good experience, working with international customers

I was doing after sale support for British Airways High Life Shop. My duties included handling the on-board complains, redeeming vouchers that were given to customers for compensation, refunding customers whose items were not delivered on-board, replacing the faulty items and exchanging wrong items. We are working shits as a team of 4 people, the other 2 in the morning and the other in the evening. The working hours are very convenient and the management have trust in their employees. The most challenging aspects of my job is dealing with difficult customers who does not want to follow the company's procedure and want things to be done their own way.

Pros: Great opportunity working with international customers
Cons: Working Shifts

Current role is diversified.

My job includes prospecting for new business as well as service existing database. I am involved in a range of Marketing activities for our Sales team & indeed the local properties, e.g putting action plans together, designing promotions & social media reporting. I enjoy the freedom to do my job and not being micro managed The company recently went through section 189 which was quite stressful but I'm pleased to say my job was saved. The biggest challenge is our different hotel operations teams ensuring guests/clients are happy long after the sale or booking is done and I think this speaks to staff & management being properly trained, so they can do their jobs well.

Pros: Part of large tourism company so large growth opportunities.
Cons: aha has received some negative press recently.
