Excellent learning curve

On a typical work day we assist applicants with their visa applications and do their biometrics as well. I would say I have a good relationship with my co-workers because I personally do not like conflict, so I try by all means to make sure that everyone is happy or at least cordial with one another; I've come to understand that people are not the same and we need to be friendly with each other. Kindness goes a long way. I have learnt to be consistent with what you do, organising files and passports and learning how to deal with enquiries and inquiries. I have enjoyed meeting different people and interacting with different cultures. I would say the most challenging aspect would be when we had peak season because it gets really really busy and the company cannot afford to do any errors.

I care

I am not too happy how things are being executed. The Values of the company are not by which they orchestrate. Real talent is overlooked. Favouritism is rife No heart.

Work too hard

Shifts are rotational 10:30 to 19:30, 11am to 8pm, 1pm to 10 pm, 3pm to 12am. One weekend off every 4-6 weeks. Online shopping sales and customer service for elderly market in the UK. Soft sales required. Target based bonus structure. Growth opportunities available but salary increases on promotion is small. Environment is frustrating as i do not get the opportunity to utilise my skills to its full potential. Very limited time to spend with family and fiance due to shifting as I would be working on South African Holidays which is double time. I have been retrenched and forced placed into sales which is not one of my stronger points

Excellent people skills

I have learned I have to enjoy my job. I can't wake up every morning to spend 8 hours or more at a company I am not happy working for. I can't work in misery just because I need the money. Yes we all need money, how sad is it to spend 8 hours each day in misery. I have worked for many companies and I learned to enjoy doing what I doing because the experience was always amazing from the people I work with to the customers or members I deal with. Every situation is different and it's amazing how we can adjust to it, only if we enjoy doing what we do. Be happy see positive in all you do and receive. Reaction is what matters most in each situation. I respect my seniors, I can be a bit of a rebel when it comes to a challenge, never with disrespectful intentions. Only because I seek understanding if I can't have it my way.

Excellent learning curve

Learning alot from the company it has taught me alot about the call centre industry and looking to grow in a new dynamic working place where i can spread my wings and fly, but aslong as i have the skills and knowledge i have accumulated from the previous and current company iv worked for i know i cam be more that a service agent or sales agent with in a year

Learning Curve

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The HR team tried to make for fun as often as they can with dress up days and themed days. they arranged perks such as discounts off gym memberships and massages.

Sales and retentions team

Iv always been a customer service person but Teleperformance gave me an opportunity to be on the sales and retentions team. I enjoyed it and iv gained alot of experience.

Pros: Learning curve and experience on how to deal with certain customers
Cons: Long hours but it is a job n i dont really mind

A new challenge

Working at Teleperformance RSA is a new experience and challenge that I have taken on full force as it is the first time working in insurance., however was able to Adapt to the nature and quickly Excell.
