Loosers, thieves, racist, white monopoly, compaby doesnt care abou the black staff, always issues about small request. Battling for years for equal rights and salaries.

HRBP at Swissport

I was employed as an HRBP at Swissport and used to oversee all HR functions for the coastal airports and used to assist the company nationally during strikes and wage negotiations and was the custodian of the provident fund and medical aid nationally .

Pros: I have learnt a lot with regards to being in a unionised industry and working and settling disputes with all stakeholders .

Excellent working dimension as a first time to the airport

It’s a ground handling company for different companies such SAA,Swiss,Flysafaironly to mention a few.Good company to work for but the salary grade it’s not it’s not satisfying as the environment is too busy and very dangerous

am willing to work shift and unguided am team player i believe in team building i enjoy sharing skills for growth of company customer service,punctuality,creativity,good listening skill in general ,be alert every time, not being able to assist passengers re guest.

Meeting different people everyday ,gets to socialise and learn different langauages.

When it is busy and we short stuffed. Working as a team is a very best one.How to solve our own problems before including our superior. Helping a very grateful passenger laughing till his or her final destination.A passenger that cannot speak English I don't know were there are going how many bags so I find that very challenging sometimes.But apart from that I really enjoy working as a passenger service helping people is what I do best.

Leaning curve

My Name is THULANI Mazibuko from vereeniging and work for swissport sa based at or tambo airport I'm an assistant mechnic, still have alot to learn , I love doing engine overhaul but do to the structure at my current workplace doesn't allow that to happen often , when stuck we always help each other to finish jobs on time

Challenging job , be calm working under pressure , meeting knew customer everyday , be loyal and trustworthy , being competent doing job all kind of rays coming around the country, giving good service apply my skill of safety at the ramp , knowledge of about danger goods .Driving around airside . superser the loading of flight . Taking passenger from the terminals to the flight parking bay .
