Good learning curve

I believe that my strong educational background and extensive experience makes me an appropriate candidate for the advertised vacancy. I have a BSc Mathematical Statistics and Operational Research and extensive experience as a Trainee having been employed at Statistics South Africa for two years, Wipro for 6 months this has prepared me well for a similar position to the one advertised. My duties amongst others included the following: Research and Analysis: Writing of Fact sheets, Articles, standardize and validate data, Reports and Research writing, Summary of past papers (As the literature study). I also worked as a volunteer at an information centre, which has stimulated my ability to interrogate with others and improve my communication skills. Completed training in desktop and system support which skilled me in to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows. I am a hardworking, innovative, self-motivated and a dedicated team player and can also work independently.

Growing and greener pasture

I served as a messenger in the office and logged calls to the service provide for faulty machines or equipments, Answering and transferring calls in a professional manner is one of my key performance areas, purchasing cleaning material and toiletries when need arise. what i have learnt in this organisation is giving your all and work as a team will make a person grow spiritual and intellectual. I enjoy assisting my co-workers and manage to help them as well as the management especially an ability to do so, The most challenging aspects of the job is when i am unable to perform due to lack of resources or time.

Excellent

It is a big company situated in centurion. We are doing electrical maintenance. We only work on the availability of jobs. We have transport allowance. In case of working far from the places where we stay, they also book for an accommodation to stay. We get our salary in time by the last day of the month.

I have good administration working skills

I had a good working relationship with the staff members and have really liked working there. I have working under pressure and long hours and overtime. I also learnt to treat the information I was working with confidential because I was working with sensitive data.

Good leaerning enviroment

i was working at Statistics South Africa in a component called Household Survey Operations (HSO), which is responsible for household data collection, quality of data collection and monitoring the processes of data collection. Key areas expertise  Project supervision and management  Business analysis  Data sampling, collection, analysis and interpretation  Process improvement identification  Asses analyse and optimize end to end business.

Years of experience and high qualification

Financial information, data analysis, high confidentiality, investigative work, tight deadlines, routine work, 10 years experience, 2 B Comm degrees, current job has over time without pay, personnel shortages and no opportunities for promotion, no challenging projects and not learning or growth environment.

Pros: stable environment and low risk for unemployment
Cons: no promotion opportunities and very little challenging work
