Got so much experience

It was such a great experience to work for Sportscene unfortunately my contract ended because it was a holiday day. But I learnt so much there and gained a lot experience

Lots of opportunity are there in sportscene

since I started working for sportscene I have learned lots of things admin, acknowledging stock doing visual merchandise canvassing running shift doing banking providing a good customer service maintaining stock loose being a team player handling accounts department doing sales reaching my monthly target all in one being a all rounder

Pros: If you work hard you can make it in this industry
Cons: 8-9 hours

Good working curve

Sportscene was all about having fun at work,the employer wanted us to have fun at work so that means living what you do and doing it with passion,I gave good customer services and there were lot of challenges but no complains coz if you tell yourself that I need a job and am going to make sure that I do my level best at it and I exell in everything then you can do it

Learning more and i love wht i am doing

I love my job and I am good at it and gaining more experience and learning more . I work with wonderful people and learning a lot from each and everyone of them. I am a hard worker and willing to learn evrytime. I enjoy working with people cos I am good at that.

My learning experience

Responsible for inspiring the sales associates and management team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets by ensuring that every customers receives a fantastic overall experience. Duties clearly and concisely communicate the business, area and store objectives to team. Build a very strong relationship with staff, that's why the store is doing so well. I have learned quite a few things, how to budget, maintain profitable, how to hire the proper staff members. How to launch events. Most importantly how to communicate to my team. Most challenging aspect to my job is to say No.

Sale assistance

Sell sneaker. Do account for customers. Customer service. Assist customer by point of sale. Do promotion when we have a promo. Sell sneaker cleaner explain to the customer how was a sneaker cleaner Work. Tell a customer about our new product we have and sell to them. I enjoy to work with people. With my co worker we build a good relationship we work as team

Growth in the company

Meeting different characters in customers, being able to persuade customers to open accounts especially students because they don't have debts. I work in a friendly environment, we all get along. In the 3 years of working for the company, I have learnt admin and leadership skills as I became a caretaking store manager for 6 months from August last year till January this year. I enjoy finishing my tasks before time in order for me not to have a huge workload. The customers are different so some problems that customers experience become a challenge such as a customer who wants to exchange goods without the slip, whereas the exchange must have the original slip and I must make sure the customer leaves the store satisfied with the service.

Pros: Being appreciated for a job well done and get incentives sometimes
Cons: Working weekends and getting only 2 days off a month

Great room for growth

Working with 15 staff a day. Typical day would be informing staff of expectations for the day.what each person needs to do. Assting all customers who walk through our doors and making sure they leave happy and will return. Challages we face include power failure that's puts alot of strain on the business as we face technical problems.sometimes having to chases customer as purchases not going.had a lot of these now in October.we make it a mission to resolve all issues that out customers have.I have learnt that working with people reqiures a lot of patience .both customers and staff

Pros: one can apply at any of the foshini group stores, great opprtunity for all to grow
Cons: Working in town.we have lots of movement around us.thieves are also a big problem for us

Excellent worker

I have learned alot at the company and sometimes bits challenging but you have to put pressure and challenge everything that comes towards you at anytime, you must be willing to work under pressure, and have a good relationship with customers and the co-workers.

Normal Day

Strong and Mindful. reaching target sales open and honest relationship with colleagues no task is too difficult for me i enjoy the interaction with customers and colleagues
