Excellent learning curve working at Shoprite

Shoprite it has been a good company for a great growing It made me enjoy retail ever since I engaged with the company Most difficult thing is there is no overtime but we working very long hours per day Cooperation it's very good with the bosses and team work it's also good with staff

Excelling in work

Im Mbongeni Sibiya ,I'm Good at adopting work style,fast learner , willing to give the best at all duties , enjoying working with Other people,like to learn other people skills and us it to add on what I have or what I'm good at ,I also share with other people what I'm good at so that together we become a good or strong team,i like to lead people by an example by working with them / showing them what them,i don't like to live my work untired and I don't live today's work for tomorrow I make sure that everything for today it's done before I live the store or work place and lastly I'm a hard worker.

I'm indipendent, driven for success and a good leader

My work Day was consist of opening the store to ensure is ready for trade, placing orders before start of trade. I had good working relationship with my co-workers, I learned to be instruction attentive, work indipendent and being a team player. I enjoyed the atmosphere and customers interaction, and my challenge was to run the store alone during my assistance day offs or annual leave and when suppliers don't deliver promotional item in time

Pros: I worked myself to the position I was as a branch manager

Gain lots knowledge, great strength, great stability and growing success

Good working relationship, better opportunity, supportive, better training, giving opportunities to explore and learn Working for shoprite its so privileged you gain lots experience by meeting so many challenges, making decisions, multitasking, is the company I trusted under no circumstances even if economic can be battle in Africa but that can company can stand and be stronger even further for their employees. It is only a matter when working overtime which are not paid for but I must saying it's a good company I wish to spend my life with only if they can change strategy of let people work overtime but not paying them

Good working experience

DRivi, relation ship with managers was not always good . as most of the managers , they dont likei like to work with a team that is willing to work and achive goals . i learnt to work with different peopple and different work environment most change was to grow sales where thre is no customers , changeing strategy of winning back customers from competators to work ng from store to store

Excellent learning curve

Working daily even on holidays, motivating staff and being a great leader, taking responsibility and the initiatives, the job very challengi because you have to meet the required standard of the store and increase the sales requirements.

Excellent learning curve

It was a great learning curve. Working fir this compony opened my eyes to the world. But know i think the time is right for me to leave. To expand my horizons. I appreciate everything the company has done for me. I will forever be grateful for working there.

Excellent place to learn, get along with everyone from cleaner to assistant manager,

Great place to work at, good regional team, teach you how to deal with supplier's and get assistance from buyers of different departments. Always at work, you do not have a personal life and get only four days off at work.

Great experiences

At my previous job it was normal job hours but the we worked overtime but wasn't paid it wasn't much but I was thankful we were paid weekly My relationship with my co-workers was ups and downs but we had a good understanding with each other I learned a lot by my co-workers like working under pressure I enjoyed the fun environment The most challenging was handling difficult customers
