Exposure to CSI
I am generally responsible for the company’s CSI Budget, the screening and reviewing of all funding proposals and allocation of Sponsorship grants to Section 21 companies and NPO’s. Compiling the SED file and collating information for BBBEE verification and also managing the SED accreditation process and audit. I also plan and coordinate all Sponsorship hand-over project events and manage relations (PR) with external media houses, in order to ensure coverage and publication of CSI events. I am liable for reporting (EXCO) and updating the intranet and the social media networks with CSI events/information. I also manage the Bursary Fund - preparing budget; creating board packs// bursary advertising material and liaising with the institutions of higher learning in SA regarding the bursaries.

Great learnibg curve and professional development
My years at Scorpion have been an opener into the lives of the indigent member of the Community, their dire need for legal assistance and awareness of their rights in varying circumstances. The nature of cases they need assistance are more or less similar and may of which are occasioned by either illiteracy or ignorance. I have had some of the best colleagues in the working environment anyone could ask for. It's a supportive and well knit family you can rely on for support when needed. The only challenge is dealing with emotionally drained Policyholders that you need to console at the same time assist. I relish more challenges for career development purposes,hence my endeavour

Time management
-Answering calls -filling -faxing -capturing -providing stats report to manager I have a good working relationship with other workers I have learnt to manage time very well. helping others and solving queries. when I don't make target for the month I get stressed.
Pros: it is wonderful to work for scorpion because u are given opportunities to learn.

Excellent learning experience
The company that I am currently working at has a lot of clients and they are more knowledgeable and are up to date with some of the legal queries to can relate them to their situations so it's important to be on the know with all the development and or changes happening within the legal fraternity so as to not be caught giving wrong advice. So it's important in that for the goals of the company to be archived, we as employees must work as a team, something which we are doing.

Excellent learning Curve
Scorpion Legal is a big Company and has been the best platform for me to learn what I have actually studied and exposed me to the different aspects. However I feel one can not be able to grow I have the most wonderful co-owners as we all sing the same tune that is providing the best service to all our clients I have learnt a lot but to mention just a few -RAF matter -Motor collision claims -Small Claims -Uncontested Divorce -Drafting legal documents -team work -Civil cases- Consumer, property, what I have enjoyed the most is motor collision and RAF cases the Most challenging aspects of the job is mainly explaining to clients that we wont be able to assist them, either be because their matters are not covered under the policy or the matter pre-dates cover, happened before they joined the policy

I work with the most amazing team I love the way they work together to reach target. I have learnt how to work and deal with Pressure and under deadline and my working pace has increased gradually. And my Job has taught me to pay more attention to detail since I was working with numbers and Q-link. After a long working day I enjoy the fact that me and my team we get the Job done and the target met and there's nothing that makes me happy sleep at night knowing that my job had been done.it makes me very happy.

I can work on my own without supervision and typing a lot accurately.
Working at Scorpion legal protection is challenging we work on target everyday if you don't reach the target within the normal working hours you stay after hours with no extra cash. There is a quality assurance to check mistakes on our captured work, if there is lots of mistakes on your work the performance become poor. The working environment is good we work as a team in one open office we helping each other were necessary. We crack the jokes and laugh. Our managers are friendly but when comes to business very strict. I've learnt accuracy, typing speed and being very careful all the time. I enjoyed the work as a whole because I didn't know I can meet deadline accurately with no one after me. The most challenging part of this work was from 1st to 15th of every month we call it (commission run). Some of us where staying around so whether you've reach target or not you stay and push the work for deadline from 8h00 until 21h00 but no extra cash.
Pros: There were not promising us any permanent position though.
Cons: I enjoyed working long hours even though no money.

Working hard and learning more
Scorpion Legal Protection is a great company to work for, I take it as a great training ground. they gave me an opportunity that I will be grateful for a while. I am always punctual and ix am always on time, self motivated doesn't need too much guidance from management. When I got to scorpion Legal Protection I thought that I will find people that were self absorbed but I found people that were caring, loving and willing to support me in very way possible. In simple terms I could say they are genuinely amazing people. I have learnt time management and how important it is to prepare your work prior from actioning it in order for you to be able to do it correctly an accurately. I enjoy the ambiance mostly because it was pleasant and conducive for every employees sense of being and mental state. I did not have any challenges as such, because each an every obstacle I found it was more of an opportunity to do things differently. I hope this find you well.
Pros: It gave me an opportunity to learn how the admin and an office works and undertakes their day to day business. Inoder to work efficiently and reach the goals established
Cons: There are no opportunities to grow within the company hence this amazing move.
