Sappi is diverse in terms of civil engineering, we cover all aspects of the engineering field from roads to structures and much more.We also work with a lot of aspects regarding industrialised maintenance work.

Pros: Good exposure of all fields

Excellent learning curve

Technical report writing, managing SHEQ objectives, doing sampling for external lab analysis. Doing audits in line with ISO 9001/14001/18001. Responsible for at least 200 mill staff.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion outside Sappi
Cons: Lack of recognition of staff

Extensive experience in engineering design and project development. Over 20 years experience in heavy industry. Specialisg in project management and bulk materials handling. MSc mechanical engineering. Relocate any where in RSA. Managed multi discipline teams
