Excellent learning curve

Long hours was a problem but i managed, we worked 12 hour shifts then my re leaver doesn't come to work then i have to pull a double shift then go home to rest for 6 hours then go back to work as it will be my shift by then. Work was great i learned quite a lot from my experience as i was not located to a certain section but the hole plant and i was part of projects and managing contractors during projects. As shift co-ordinators we were sent to different courses to learn about different sections of the plant including all upgrades, plant process and production.

Excellent learning curve

Review production targets and previous day performance. My relationships are quite professional. I am a coach to the young staff and a developer to my subordinates. I have learnt that working with diverse team results in favourable outcomes. I enjoy working through a team and finding solutions that long term. I enjoy setting up systems. Most challenging aspects are collaborating across the plants.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion.

I am proficient, challenged driven, accurate and loyal.

III worked for a corporate company with lots of responsibilities. I enjoyed every moment, everyday but due to everyone working from home, my position at SAPPI became redundant.

Pros: I am unemployed and would love to work
Cons: None, all I need a job

Coordinator

Daily inspections, assessments, RA, communicating with staff on safety related issues and closure Having a passion for my work on all three levels it is important to stay focused on maintenance annual service and ensuring legal compliance

I where a shift fitter of whole factory

I where a shift fitter repair general machines including high speed paging machines conveyor structures pumps strip and repair gearboxes pipeline water purification boilers motors lighnups replace of b belts guards

Pros: Good security nice place to learn working as a team

No progress

good and boring in terms of progress, they don't encourage education. there is no specific plan for young graduates straight from varsity, no guidance on what to on a daily basis. graduates are not well paid and there are less chances for employment or promotion. self growth is rare or very difficult as you are not involved in most of the things happening around your workplace, they don't open opportunities for graduates to further enroll their studies.
